Omni Aladdin's cave with vegan treats - Edit
I was surprised to find a fair selection of tofu and even vegan cheese, alongside locally grown vegetables and wholefoods, in this traditional-looking shop. Prices seemed reasonable too to this Londoner! Helpful staff. Great place to stock up, especially if you're self-catering.

Some useful bits - Edit
We managed to pick up some useful bits in here- crisps, chocolate etc. They have quite a few pantry items and snacks suitable for vegans and some refrigerator items like vegan cheeses, butter, tempeh, custard etc. None of the cakes, pastries or freezer items were vegan. Looks like they have less vegan bits than in the past looking at others reviews & photos. The supermarkets have more vegan stuff but it does have some speciality items that you’d find harder to get in some supermarkets

Great to stock up on vegan goodies - Edit
This is another catch up addition from last summer from me, but I checked their website and social media and still very relevant. Heads up, got a wee fright when I saw the non-food perhaps not to vegan-friendly business streams on their website, but if you can set that side and are visiting or staying in Orkney they have lots of vegan supplies. Also good if, like me, you have a total of one hour in Kirkwall before a bus trip to historical locations with no more options to buy food.
