Tamewood. - Edit
Wildwood is an Italian casual dining chain based in the UK. The Llandudno location is spacious and attractive but suffers from a severe lack of character as these places tend to. I booked online before visiting, and the process was straightforward.
Read moreI browsed the menu online before visiting and had decided on the Baked Aubergine, but I was told that on arrival, it was not available. There were a couple of other vegan options, including a Vegan Burger, but in the end, I went for the Vegan Lasagne. It was not served with anything and was not a particularly generous portion, but it did have a lot of vegetables in it. It was nice enough, but not good value for money. More disappointing, though, was my sparkling water, as it was served to me almost flat.
Overall, Wildwood is nice enough, and I appreciate how they have multiple labelled vegan options. However, their food is not impressive, and I expected more for the price. I'm sure other vegans will find this a convenient location to visit for dinner in a town with predominantly meat centric eateries and only one vegan cafe.

Meh - Edit
CI would give this a 3 star review but because HappyCow takes one off for being a carnist joint, it's a 2. Everything was just okay. I liked that they offered smaller portions for certain dishes but the pasta was pretty boring and tasteless except salt, the salad was basic, and the soup wasn't fully blended which is odd for a butternut squash. Also the restaurant was far too bright and loud. They were also incredibly busy. I had to wait an hour and 15 for a table. Half the staff were very friendly. The other half seemed harried but that's typical for a busy night. It's nice to have labeled options in a small town but I wish the food itself was better.

This is the 2nd time coming here. Has a lovely choice of vegan options and they can change a meal to a vegan option. I had the vegan lasagna it was really tasty. We will definitely come back again. Lovely friendly service too.

excellent ! - Edit
My husband and I ate here tonight. I had the vegan option of the risotto & we shared the vegan focaccia. Absolutely beautiful meal. Quite a few vegan options and options to 'veganise' dishes. Very welcoming staff. We would definitely recommend a visit.

Great food for a non-vegan chain - Edit
The food here is delicious, and the portions are generous. There are a few vegan options, but they could always have more. Reasonably priced menu. Service was good during ordering and getting our food, but the staff vanished when we wanted to pay the bill.

Average - Edit
Reasonable choice of vegan options, i had spaghetti pomodoro which i enjoyed. However food arrived before drinks, in less than 5 mins so was obviously microwaved. Waitress was fake nice. Disappointed.

Good vegan options - Edit
Wildwood are not exclusively vegan, they do sell steak and burgers etc. however they have a great range of vegan options and everything I have tried has been delicious! Would 100% recommend the baked mushroom starter from the Llandudno restaurant as it is amazing!! (also tried the same starter in Telford but it wasn't as good). They offer vegan pasta dishes (all delicious), risotto, pizza etc.

Disappointing - Edit
Not many vegan options, so went with the obligatory burger. Not great if I'm honest and the chips were undercooked. Only vegan dessert was guess what, sorbet! All a bit of a token effort. On the plus side the staff were very nice. Overall though, given the cost, wouldn't bother again

Great calzone and nice atmosphere - Edit
We had a lovely meal there. My calzone with aubergine and vegan meatballs was delicious. You do need to book. We were luck but folks after us were getting turned away.
