Serves meat, vegan options available. Grocer and eatery with several veganizable items on the menu labeled, including: veggie breakfast burrito with optional smother in vegan green chili, harvest salad or sandwich, and good good salad. The menu doesn't have vegan cheese as an option for the pizza, but you can ask if the kitchen has any in stock. Has alternative milks for coffee drinks, and the chocolate used for mocha is dairy-free. Sell some vegan products in the coolers and on the shelves. Open Mon-Sun 8:00am-9:00pm.

Not Accomodating

After finding out Beau Jo's in Steamboat doesn't have vegan cheese OR plant based sausage, we pinned our hopes on this place and made a call asking for two simple requests: can we sub the chicken for tofu and can we get vegan cheese?

Nope and nope. Despite them having these items, they apparently just don't want to cooperate to serve vegans. Disappointing.

Check out How Ya Doin pizza next time you're in town, I'm surprised they don't have a listing on here

You didn't miss anything by skipping Beau Jo's. Vegan cheese or not. Worst pizza in town.

Great find

We were visiting during mud season and many of the restaurants listed on Happy Cow were closed😒I happened to call this place and ask if their pizza crust was vegan. After a brief hold the gentleman on the phone told me it was. We walked over for dinner and were pleasantly surprised by the menu. We ordered the harvest pizza with no cheese and no pesto and the gentleman helping us asked if we wanted vegan cheese. We don't like Daiya so were hesitant and asked him what brand. He couldn't remember, but walked us over to the cooler where they sold it (it is also a grocery store) and we were thrilled to see Violife! Even better, they didn't upcharge us for vegan cheese like most places do! We also had the breakfast burritos a couple times during our trip. The first time they were brought out, I could tell it was egg not tofu and asked about it. The young man was extremely apologetic as was the chef who whipped up a new (truly vegan) one very quickly. The mochas were good as well. I bought too many vegan candies from the grocery section lol

Pros: Fun atmosphere , Several vegan options , Fresh ingredients

Cons: No vegan baked goods
