AMAZING. - Edit
I've been to a few different raw places, but this one takes the cake as far as I'm concerned. Though it's a small space (located essentially in the corner of a yoga studio's lobby), there's enough room to sit at the bar and enjoy what is definitely going to be a delicious meal or snack. I went with my family, and as such I was able to try several different menu selections. My mom had the taco salad, which was great; the pistachio taco meat is really great (what I had of it anyway: by the time my mom was full, the leftovers I got were all salad!). My girlfriend had the zucchini noodles (unfortunately I don't recall the exact name of the dish, but I think it's the only zucchini noodle option). This, too, was amazing. I even got the leftovers which I saved for dinner that night. I had the pizza, which came as two slices overflowing with veggies. I can only compare it to the raw pizza at WoW in Guelph, and it was even better. For such a small place, they really have a great menu with many choices. My family is resistant to raw food, but they both enjoyed their meals and ate to their fill (and, as I mentioned, still had leftovers to share!). If you're in or near Burlington, definitely eat here!!!
Pros: Amazing food, Made fresh, right in front of you, Really friendly
Cons: Small space, limited seating

Gem - Edit
We went a few months ago not long after the cafe opened. I don't even remember what we ate except that it was delicious. The brothers who run the cafe take great pride in what they are doing and spoke with us about how they got it started and what their plans were. It's so great to find places like these which serve delicious healthy food.
Cons: limited seating

Wild Seed! - Edit
I love Happy Cow. I had to run to Ikea in Burlington today and even though I have searched for places to eat in Burlington before and found nothing, today I noticed a new raw vegan restaurant listed called Wild Seed.
Fast forward a couple of hours and I had eaten half of the menu and had great conversations with the owners, brothers Pete and George, about everything from veganism, to music, to the challenges of opening a small business and where to find a accordion style locking door. Some of my favorite meals have been at raw restaurants, W.O.W. in Guelph comes to mind, but this is legitimately the first time I have walked away from a raw restaurant not only satisfied with the food and the service, but I was also FULL!!! That is no small feat! Another relief was the affordability of all the food. For the most part you get what you pay for at a raw restaurant, but even the high end at Wild Seed is $12.50, and believe me you get a full serving! Even though I had a perfect restaurant experience, I would hesitate to call the restaurant perfect, if only because of all the great ideas that Peter has in his head to improve the restaurant ( this makes me excited to go back! ). If you aren't sold yet, picture the largest bowl of delicious live nacho's you have ever seen and a slice of raw chocolate cheesecake that will make you entirely forget you are eating food that is actually good for you!
Verdict: GO TO BURLINGTON AS SOON AS POSSIBLE.
Pros: Amazing Food , Run by the nicest guys , Won't need a second mortgage

WOW... Do not miss this local gem! - Edit
We just got back from an incredible meal at 'Wild Seed' and for the first time ever we felt compelled to do a restaurant review online (which we never do). It was seriously that good.
WOW.... Unlike most 'fast-food' available, this living organic and delicious food left us feeling energized, and better then we did coming in. It was made fresh and quickly in front of our eyes, with laughter, love and energy. George and Pete were caring, attentive and full of spirit, not to mention they made a raw 'Live Taco Salad' that was just stunning. The nut-based 'sour cream' was creamy and surprisingly similar, yet brimming with life. Very cool.
We enjoyed the meal so much, that we couldn't resist ordering the 'Poutine' even though we were both full. And after gobbling down it all, we didn't feel tired but ready to take on the rest of our night with energy and vitality.
Normally you'd need to be in a big city like New York or Toronto to get Gourmet Raw Food made this yummy and quickly, but here we are, in Burlington off Fairview, and totally amazed!
Seriously. Check this place out, and tell them 'Unity & Phi' said Hi!
With love,
Unity & Phi
