Something for the Veggie Foodie

My partner and I truly enjoyed our dinner at Wild Rice to mark his birthday. I am vegan and he is omnivore and they have dishes to offer both of us. Their vegan dishes are elegant, tasty and beautifully presented, and they are presented in the menu as VEGAN, rather than vegan-friendly. I also visited the restaurant on another occasion as part of a meatless "meat-up" in which the prepared a multi-course vegan meal to us that was equal to anything I'd eaten in Paris in my pre-vegan days.

Pros: Delicious, Elegant, Generous

Cons: None

Incredible Food and Amazing Atmosphere

I really wish I could give this place 5 "happy cows." We just ate here and this definitely ranks among our top 2 favorite restaurants. It's a small menu, but most things are either vegan or can be made vegan. We had the Yam and Rosemary Potstickers: incredible, the buddha's curry: wonderful, the chinatown sweep: a MUST, and the spicy maple hill kung po: awesome. Our favorite was the Chinatown Sweep with the smoked tofu. The most flavorful (and firm!) tofu we've ever had, and the noodles and veggies are heavenly! The atmosphere is really sexy - great lighting, comfortable seating, and the service was great. It is more expensive than many vegan restaurants, but not overpriced and well worth it for a special occasion or a just a really nice meal. There were three of us that shared the 3 large dishes family style - and we had a lot of leftovers. We would have been fine ordering just two large dishes as they give you healthy sized portions. Can't wait to go back there!!!

Pros: Incredible Food, Great Atmosphere, Mostly vegan menu

Delicious

The vegan ravioli was great, and the kung poa noodles with tofu and broccoli are really good too.
