Staff was not the best, not super friendly and seemed to not know what is vegan and not, which is weird because its a vegetarian restaurant. I confirmed with the staff that the teriyaki bowl had no seeds, showed up with sesame seeds all over it. So theres that.

Unfortunately in the southern Oregon it’s difficult to find meat free places so I was excited about this one, but it was just ok. The prices are really high for what it is. I had a burger, nothing seemed to made in house.

The staff at a vegetarian restaurant should be able to tell you what is vegan or not. Evidently not here - they were clueless on whether their veggie burger was and if any modifications were needed. 1st time in 17 years as a vegan and 32 as a vegetarian I have experienced such an ill informed team in a vegetarian restaurant. The food was ok - kind just throw stuff together. Tastes ok but nothing special.

Finally a totally vegetarian place to eat in Grants! Burgers can be vegan, just ask. I haven't tried anything else but it's a nice place and I'm sure everything is delicious.

We had a decent vegan breakfast here, two sandwiches and two smoothies. They have Just egg which we were excited about, but it is displayed as a $2 up charge (already too high in my opinion) but they’ve changed it to $3.50, which just didn’t seem worth it and we are trying to save money while traveling so we just got paninis without the egg and they ended up ok.

Get the Simple Breakfast Panini and a Paradise Green - Edit
Wish there were more vegan options here! They were able to veganize a couple paninis for us and of course the Paradise Green smoothie was delightful! We got Loaded omelette breakfast panini and Simple Breakfast Panini (vegan sausage, vegan cheese, vegan Just Egg) . The Simple Breakfast Panini veganized was the best.

Last visit was a little odd; ordered our food then was told after waiting 20 minutes that it would be $2 extra for just egg. Went out to car to get $2, came back and got told it was actually $6?? Had to run back out to my car to get more money again. $6 seems steep for just egg, especially since the wait was over 30 minutes for a to-go and one of our smoothies was warm.

Make sure you specify vegan, and be prepared to pay extra for it. The place was super cute and the staff were very nice. Would be a perfect restaurant if it was 100% plant based.

Wow, the smoothies are SO GOOD. Plus, their Vegan options are numerous. Mostly everything (99.9%) can be made 100% vegan. When you order to-go online, first timers get 20% off. When I asked for soy bacon, they called me and told me it wasn't vegan. Very astute! Thanks.

Read moreFour of us gathered for lunch, and we each had something different: the classic burger, the Beyond Burger, the quinoa wrap, and the Chipotle Love Breakfast Panini (with Just Egg). Each and every dish was delicious! (No photos because we all enjoyed everything before thinking of photos...)
The smoothies and juices are also excellent judging by the ones we sampled (the Oatmeal Cookie Smoothie was amazing, and the Liquid Sunshine Juice -- made with carrot, orange, ginger, lemon, apple -- was gorgeous, delicious, and healthy).
The meals come with lovely side dishes, from fruit to sweet potato fries to regular fries -- again, all wonderful. We also had their vegan chocolate-chip cookies, which were perfect.
The restaurant is clean, bright, and lovely, and the staff couldn't be sweeter or more helpful. The menu is entirely vegetarian, and anything on it can easily be made vegan (including aoili and all cheeses).
I can't recommend this place highly enough, and can't wait to go back!

They're just opening, and have to get their sea legs, but their potential I'd amazing. They plan to always be meat free, and more importantly, continue to add to their menu. Options are great and so is the food.
