Nothing special

We went to wild ginger for dinner and had a few Small plates. It was really mediocre, to be honest. Dumplings came out cold, kale had no sauce or seasoning, tempeh was bland and quite uninspired. It was pretty expensive for what it was and took a long time. Seitan skewers were good though?

Pros: Plenty of options , Good seitan and fake meat , Outdoor seating

Cons: Fairly mediocre flavour , Quite expensive for what it is , Slow service

Love it.

Yummy all vegan restaurant. Their launch special is great. One of my favorite neighborhood spots for easy vegan lunch or dinner.

The food was mediocre and the staff was a bit rude. Probably won’t be back.

Just when I was craving oriental...

So everything came up to a bit of a hefty price but it was worth it! I loved the scallion pancake with the mango sauce it was soooooo good. The oyster mushrooms were perfect. I only had it from Go Zen and I love theirs but its too salty. Wild Ginger's king oyster mushrooms were delicious and not too salty but there was a bit of a spicy kick with the jalapenos. I enjoyed my meal. I will definitely be ordering from you guys again. Thanks. I'm so full.

Pros: Delicious, Lots of menu items, Everything was good

Cons: The prices for the appetizers were high

Great Asian food in big portions

This vegan restaurant in Soho is a mandatory stop if you like Asian food. It is a bit expensive but you have a huge choice and everything comes very tasty and served in big portions. I really liked my dishes and I went out the restaurant completely full and satisfied. They know how to cook seitan, tofu, ... and the staff is professional and fast. Besides, the place is cute. I would come back again without any reluctance.

Pros: 100% vegan, excellent food, big portions, professional staff, pleasant place

Cons: a bit expensive

Nice surprise

Took my friend here who is beginning her plant based journey and it was a great place to start. Everything we ordered was delicious and the prices were typical of non-vegan Asian cuisine in New York. Will definitely be going back.

Pros: All vegan, Fair prices

Cons: None

Me and my bf felt very welcome and the staff were superfriendly! The food was amazing, we tried mango and avocado rolls and bibimbap. We can recommend both!

Loved it

Really enjoyed our dinner. They were friendly and the atmosphere was nice. We had hot and sour soup, pan fried dumplings, eggplant with garlic and black pepper seitan. All were very tasty. Salted caramel ice cream was outstanding!

Pros: All vegan!

Maybe it was an off day?

Sadly, my experience was a mediocre one. The food was very tasty, but it was served indifferently. The veggie shiu mai were obviously old. Not only were they not hot, the tops of some were dry even though the lettuce leaves underneath were damp and shriveled. The pumpkin soup was lukewarm. The side of steamed greens and hot tea were fine. In short the food was tasty, but the details were careless. Also, the service was not up to modern standards. They were in a rush to get my order even though it was not over busy, and no one bothered to ask if things were to my liking.

I may give it another try in future, but at this point I cannot give it a great review.

Pros: Tasty food, All vegan menu

Cons: Service needs improvement

YUMMO!

Got off Amtrak headed directly downtown to checkout The Butcher’s Daughter only to find out they only had “bar snacks” til 5! Used this ap to find LuANne’s and SO GLAD I DID! Awesome fresh choices in a cozy atmosphere with great friendly service.

LOVED this place!

We were so happy to find this place! We ate there two days in a row because we loved it. EVERYTHING on the menu is vegan. They have a lunch combo (11:30a-4pm M-F) that is delicious and a great deal (includes a fried spring roll, miso soup and a pumpkin side) for $9!!!??? and there are about 15 different entrees to chose from. One day we shared a pot of tea with our lunch and the other day we had some warm sake. We also enjoyed the cozy ambiance and decor of the smallish dining room - very comfortable. The service was excellent too. We will definitely visit them again next time we're in NYC.

Pros: All vegan delicious food, Price is amazing, Nice ambiance

Cons: No cons! Wish they were in MN too.

Nice cozy spot

It kind of looks like it's always closed from the outside ... But it's worth opening the door and coming inside. The menu reminds me a lot of a restaurant near me in the Boston suburbs so I wasn't totally wowed. That said, the Wild Ginger version of their orange seitan was better. The udon yaki was too sweet for my taste as was the japchae. The matcha cheesecake was quite nice.

Pros: Knowledgeable staff, cozy environment

Cons: Small space

I really liked it!

We had lunch here after a long walking morning and it was definitely a good idea! Even if the restaurant is located in central Manhattan (close to Little Italy) the atmosphere is very calm and nice. Friendly staff and quick service. Delicious Asian food. We ordered some dumplings, noodles and an aubergine-based dish. Everything was quite good. We couldn't try any desserts and it was a pity because everything looked interesting.
I would come back!

Pros: Good food, Convenient location, Friendly staff and quick service

my favorite place!

This place is so amazing. I bring all my vegan and non-vegan friends here, always amazing. The Thai iced tea and Thai iced coffee are amazing, the black pepper seitan, basil-ginger soy, and the scallion pancakes are my favorite. Such a cute place, too.

Pros: amazing food , amazing service

great all rounder!

I took my non-vegan friend to this restaurant and they absolutely loved it, which says a lot. We got the sweet and sour tofu and veg. Seaweed salad, spring rolls, and dumplings all of which were really tasty, the only thing that was bland was the teriyaki tofu. All in all a great little restaurant and reasonable priced.

not worth the price

The meat substitute they used made me feel sick and the dumplings seemed like the same frozen ones that every other Asian restaurant uses. The food didn't seem to be prepared fresh, this all would have been fine but it's also expensive.
