Lovely little snacky cakey cafe

The little sanctuary was a joy to go around, with passionate and informative staff. The cafe is small but sold vegan meat style or veg pasties, lovely vegan sausage rolls and 3 vegan cakes. Teas , coffees etc. I didn't feel it needed to be healthier, just pleased the sanctuary were doing a fantastic job and the cafe seemed mostly vegan, maybe some veggie. Would definitely visit again.

lacking

we had a sausage roll, a pasty and 2 cakes for dessert.
we were pleased it was all vegan however felt that it was a very unhealthy selection for lunch. no sides. literally just a sausage roll on a plate (same with the pasty)
We would have preferred something less processed and fatty like a curry or a salad.
It's only accessible for those that have purchased entry into the monkey sanctuary and felt like it was a back up place for those that had forgotten to bring a picnic.

Pros: great view from the seating area, friendly staff, prices were fair

Cons: lack of healthy options, not suitable for lunch- more of a snack stop
