Friendly place with a few good vegan options

Had the vegan sandwich 🥪 and was happy with the choice. A couple of other vegan alternatives, like focaccia and some pastries. Good place to go together with omnivores. Very friendly and welcoming staff!

Pros: Friendly staff, Clearly marked vegan options

Amazing breakfast!

Such a cute little cafe and the staff is incredibly friendly! I had a vegan wrap
and the wildseed bar. The wrap was probably the best wrap I’ve ever had and the seed bar was delicious too! A great local option for breakfast

Great vegan options!

Such a cute cafe with outdoor seating and vegan options. I wanted the vegan breakfast sandwich but it was sold out early at 9:45am. The staff kindly put it aside for later in the afternoon, so I kept it for my breakfast the next day before my flight back home.

In the meantime I had the veggie wrap & iced mocha, both of which were great. I later had the vegan breakfast sandwich, which wasn’t as good as I had expected. However it could be because it wasn’t heated by them since I was keeping it for the next morning.

Nice vegan sandwiches

Ate there for lunch today. Counter service was slow for grabbing a sandwich from the display case and plopping in a toaster, plus a bowl of soup, but both were very good!

Pros: Vegan sandwiches

Cons: Slow service

Amazing vegan breakfast sandwich

Wild flour has a small but delicious selection of vegan items, milk alternatives are unfortunately an upcharge. But the service is usually great.

Pros: Clearly labelled vegan options

Cons: Vegan tax on plant based milks

Limited vegan options in town of limited options

Had peanut butter and fruit compote on toast, with coffee, vegan muffin with tea, and seedbar. Disappointed that the yogurt granola breakfast item did not have a nondairy option. The muffin was "healthy" tasting; seedbar was good. Staff seemed at stress limit even before 10am. Coffee is all "fancy" - felt like they were trying to compete with Starbucks

Good place for lunch

Not many vegan options but what they offer they do well. The vegan sandwich and chocolate torte were delicious. Good coffee too. Was very busy but service was quick and friendly.

Tasty food but wouldn't be first choice

Nice place but thought the options were beyond limited for vegans and was expensive for what it was.

Pros: Tasty bread, Showroom kitchen to watch bakery , Nice shaded outdoor seating

Cons: Super limited vegan options , $10 CAD for a sandwich

Hope they had more vegan baked goods

The coffee and vegan chocolate torte I had here was good, the torte was very dense and fudgy.. yum. Wish they had more vegan options for baked goods though. They have one muffin, a couple of cookies and the torte. If you want to pick up whole loaves of freshly baked bread, good place to go.

Veggie Hummus Wrap

We got vegan veggie wraps with hummus to go. They were delicious and held up well for eating later. We were there on a Sunday morning and that was the only vegan lunch option available. More vegan options would be nice.

Nice food & casual surroundings

We had the “full lunch combo” which is a sandwich, soup or salad and a cookie for $14.50, which was good value considering how expensive everything is in Banff.

They seem to have a meat option combo, a vegan option combo and another option (I can’t remember what is was), every day. The vegan choice when I went was black bean patty in a panini with tomato, kale, vegan mayo and bbq chipotle sauce. The soup was tomato and basil and it was both vegan and gluten free. The cookie was date & anise. All the food was very nice and tasty.

The staff were nice enough. The surroundings were very laid back, lots of people sitting drinking coffee and using the free WiFi which made it very busy as people don’t leave very often!

Pros: Tasty vegan options

Cons: Very busy as people sitting using free WiFi

Vegan breakfast options

This place has a few vegan pastries, oatmeal, and vegan sandwich/salad options. However, they stop serving breakfast at 10am. They also have good espresso. Vegan milk options include soy and almond. Some staff are knowledgeable, some are very clueless. One guy listed skim as a nondairy milk option.

Pros: Labels vegan options, Limited breakfast selection , Good espresso

Cons: Staff are hit or miss , Stops serving breakfast quite early

Best drip coffee I’ve ever had

Only one vegan option on this visit, but it was the first muffin I’ve had in 2 years.
