Tasty food for good price in great location

Nice refreshing little restaurant in a central yet not too busy area in Balham by the market. The terrace is lovely. The food was tasty yet affordable. Staff was super friendly. Highly recommended.

Pros: Tasty food, Affordable , Perfect location

Great menu in a lovely spot

Very atmospheric location: I came here on a sunny Sunday afternoon and it was just perfect to sit outside. The food is good: I tried the Caesar wrap and I’d have it again. I pinched some chips from my friend and they were yummy too; nice and crispy.

Best veggie burger!

I shared the chicken and beef burger and they were both so good! There are so many different burgers and wraps so it was difficult to choose what to order because everything sounds amazing. I look forward to returning soon!

Excellent

Not normally a burger fan but enjoyed the Wicked burger (deep fried jackfruit patty). It's a tall stacked burger, was worried the patty was going to be mushy, and it was but for some reason that wasn't a problem. Good sized portions and cheaper than I expected. Maybe I'm comparing it Honest Burgers' plant burger which is a ridiculous £13.50?! The Wicked Burger was £9.50 (also included chips). I added cheese to mine for an extra quid and for swapped chips for sweet potato fries, which were SUPER nice.

Also got the chipotle mayo, which was good but weirdly salty and I couldn't figure out why. Friendly staff, both the chef and the waitress were really nice. I'll be going back to sample the rest of the menu, would recommend.

Pros: Generous oortiont, Entirely vegan, Good value for money

Cons: Not an adventurous menu but great vegan junk food

Lovely small cafe and amazing food

The food here was so delicious, I would definitely come back and try more of the menu.

We had the mac and cheese, pulled bbq jackfruit loaded fries and loaded nachos - I would get the mac and cheese again any day, it was amazing.

The gin and rum cocktails on the specials menu were also really nice and they were cheap.

Pros: All vegan, Friendly staff

Cons: Needs some more standard drink options

No beef

I love this place! I’ve only ever eaten the no beef because it’s the best vegan burger I’ve had. I’ve had a few in my time. Plus the team there are very welcoming and friendly. It can come out as a little pricey but I’d say it’s worth it!

Pros: Lots of choices , Get the no beef burger with vegan cheese , Nom nom

Cons: Price

Great vegan fast food

A perfect place to drop in for a quick vegan snack. I chose a Drunken Aubergine Wrap, and will certainly return to sample more dishes.

Overpriced and Bland

We ordered an uninspiring wrap (£8!!!) and some average tortilla chips out of a packet with a bit of guac and salsa on top (£6!). All ok - if dull - but nothing you couldn’t make at home for a fraction of the price. Cookies were an eye watering £3.20 each.

No interesting coffees, just black with soya milk, which came in take-away cups (why?!?! We were *clearly* eating in). This is a very narrow, cramped cafe in an area which has delusions of grandeur. Honestly wished I’d saved my money and gone to Café Nero around the corner.

Service was friendly but strange - pleasant waitress came to the table to explain the options but then asks you to go up to the till to place your order.

Won’t return.

Pros: It’s vegan

Cons: Expensive, Bland

Average at best

For me, the food was pretty bland. I had the Wicked burger which is deep fried jackfruit. The patty was pretty tasty but everything else was uninspiring (average bun and boring fillings - bog standard lettuce, tomato, gurkin and a bit of chipotle mayo)

The wings were way overpriced. £6 for 3 small wings! A dip on the side and a hint of parmesan with a few jalapeños.

Maybe I am a harsh critic... I won’t be going back.

Pros: Chips were very good

Cons: Over priced , No creativity with the food, A little bland

Quick service, good food

Love fully vegan eateries! I had the chick n caesar salad, and the sunshine smoothie. The salad I wouldn’t order again, but the smoothie I would! I also tried the no beef (beyond) burger which was so meaty! The 2 omnis were very impressed with the burger too. The skin on fries that it came with were also yummy. I also tried the jackfruit wings with chipotle sauce as well as the garlic mayo. This is advertised as a special but it’s a tiny portion so you may need to order it with something else, my sister ordered a portion of chips to pad the meal out more as it’s more of a side. The peanut colada smoothie was also delicious. Shame the smoothies came in plastic cups though. Prices were very reasonable. I would definitely come here again.

Decent boygz

I had the chilli burger and it was decent thought not the best vegan burger I’ve ever had. They have quite a big menu so I will be back to try some of the other options too! The place is not huge and I think the experience would have been better if there was table service rather than just ordering at the till - seemed like there was enough staff who were friendly and could have coped with that. The obvious improvement/easy win would be for the smoothies to come in non-plastic containers - not sure why they do, when eating inside.

Pros: Reasonably big menu, Quick service

Cons: Ordering at the till, Smoothies come on plastic cups

One word: Amazing!!

This place has great service and really cool ambiance, but by far the best thing is the food. If you are in London, you NEED to come here. P.S. You cant leave without trying one of their burgers.

Absolutely amazing!

Had a selection of food to try it out, and every single dish was heaven. Jackfruit burger, naked bean burger and loaded chips were beyond for our taste buds. The first time we went and it was a great experience. THE BEST IS THE MAC AND CHEESE THOUGH! Must try!

Pros: Lots of options, Super tasty, Classic American fast food

A little too expensive for what you get

Interesting "fast food" menu, lots of choice. Sadly the gluten free option is the filling on a bed of lettuce. Had a "naked" wrap and was very small, left hungry. What was there was tasty but small portions and expensive. The Nachos were also low on toppings with almost no vegan cheese. Friendly staff though, could just do with either dropping prices or improving quality.

Pros: It's vegan!

Cons: Too pricey. Small portions.
