One Vegan Flavor

Would love to give more stars but only vegan flavor. The vegan coconut agave was yummy but more options would be great.

Pros: Creamy consistency

Cons: Only one vegan option

Yum!

Only one vegan flavor, which is vanilla and coconut based, but sooooo good! I was wonderfully surprised, and the texture is kind of like soft serve.

Fabulous Vegan Ice Cream

I didn’t notice a listing about vegan ice cream on the website, so I reached out via email to confirm that Wicked Lick has a vegan ice cream. Only one flavor is available. The owner described it as coconut but we thought the flavor was more akin to a really rich, creamy vanilla, although there was just the tiniest coconut texture. Based on the owner’s recommendation, we had the ice cream with a mixed berry sauce that we didn’t see on the menu.

It was FABULOUS! It was SOOO good that we returned the next night for another dose!

An earlier review commented about the high cost. It was a bit of a pricy treat, but I’ve found virtually everything to be expensive in Key West, and thus ice cream didn’t seem out of line with anything else in town.

Also, you should know that we visited three other ice cream shops along Duval without finding any vegan ice cream, so the Wicked Lick was a welcome & delicious find.

My husband & I visit Key West every year for the same event, and we’ve developed a repertoire of favorite places to get vegan food: upscale Italian at La Trattoria on Duval; Mexican veggie options at Old Town Mexican Cafe on Duval; tons of options for any meal at The Cafe, a vegetarian standby on Southard just off Duval; sandwiches for lunch at Sugar Apple, a vegetarian or vegan shop on Simonton; breakfast or lunch at Date & Thyme, a mostly vegetarian/vegan carryout with outdoor seating on Fleming; cafe con leche w/ soy milk at Cuban Coffee Queen (two locations—Caroline & Key Lime Swuare just off Duval); and now also Wicked Luck on Duv for ice cream.

Key West is paradise!

so creamy

i was shook with how it cost $8 for the smallest size…. like 2 little scoops… but it was super creamy and delicious. i do wish there were more flavors but i suppose i’d rather have one option than none!!

Yummy Vegan Ice Cream

Yummy coconut curry vegan ice cream. I got two scoops (their smallest size) with Oreos on top. I thought it was very good.

Yum

The dairy free coconut vanilla bean was delicious! If I read correctly it's the only flavor vegans can have but it is great. Plus you can get toppings to switch it up.

Delicious

The vegan coconut vanilla bean was so smooth and creamy. The strawberry topping paired well with it. The owner said they hope to expand their vegan offerings.

Pros: Smooth and creamy

Cons: Only 1 option
