Must visit vegan/yoga! - Edit

The food, staff, ambiance and location are all wholey wonderful. The owners are so sweet and they have done an amazing job getting healthy, delicious vegan food and yoga to the people of Penang. I have tried multiple drinks and deserts and there isn't one I can pick as a favorite (maybe pb cheesecake-- add ice cream). Superfood bowl is heaven in your mouth. Main dishes are all made-to-order from scratch. Behind the restaurant is a lovely courtyard for lounging, surrounded by art galleries and other cafes. Tammy's yoga is very balanced- the perfect zen fitness. Go. Support. Meditate. ✌️

Pros: Superfoods , Yoga, Love

great cafe, not in a yoga studio but there is a yoga salsa upstairs. Full-on restaurant - Edit

This whole-food vegan cafe serves amazingly delicious food, cold-pressed juices, fair-trade coffees (espresso, cappuccino, regular), desserts like cheese cakes and ice cream, and homemade milks (soy, cashew, almond). The owners (a knowledgeable, friendly Irishman and his Malaysian girlfriend who is also a yoga instructor and chef) are committed to serving the highest quality food at reasonable prices that are a third of what a comparable meal would cost in L.A.. A meal here is not to missed!

Pros: Quality, cleanliness, variety, awesome desserts, f

Cons: Sometimes runs out of some menu items, but everyth

My favorite place in George Town - Edit

A fully vegan cafe and restaurant. Delicious healthy and nutritious food. Small lunch menu, desserts, and smoothies and milkshakes. Delicious food and friendly staff! Bonus: yoga studio upstairs

Vegan haven - Edit

I felt totally at home here the first time I came by, looking for both food and yoga (and wifi and power!). The owners and staff are friendly and chatty, and very happy to talk about their recipes and experiences opening a cafe for the first time.

It's a great place to work for a few hours. There's a wide selection of tea, and the espresso is really good. Homemade soy or almond milk for a latte!

On top of that, a really delicious and varied menu. Everything is made fresh, with organic, high-quality ingredients, and packed full of wholefoods, with good portion sizes. Try the pizza, shepherd's pie, naked burger..

NOT TO MENTION creative juices, smoothies and milkshakes, plus four or five different desserts, including cheesecake, brownies, ice cream, muffins, granola bars.

It's not the cheapest, but the price is reflected in the quality of ingredients you'll get.

A really nice atmosphere outside of the hustle of George Town. It's close to an art gallery, and backs onto a little garden area where there are sometimes events. A generally hip spot to spend an afternoon.

Pros: Food quality, Atmosphere, Desserts

Cons: Price

great food - Edit

A nice friendly place, of which there are quite a few in Georgetown, but what sets this place apart is the combination of healthy food and great flavour.
Difficult to pick out a favourite but of the sweet treats, all sugar free, really enjoyed the cheesecakes. Also serve good coffee, not bitter like a lot i experienced in the city.
A friend used the yoga studio upstairs and said the classes were enjoyable and good value.
Located away from the main tourist area but is only a short walk from the Komtar tower just past the Hin Bus Depot (gallery) on Jalan Gudawara.

Pros: taste, quality of ingrdients, all vegan

Cons: nothing to moan about

More places like this please - Edit

Ah yes! Thanks to the very friendly staff and the fantastic owners at this cafe-and-yoga palace, I had a great time trying out some sublime snacks, drinks and even desserts (even though I'm not really a sweet-tooth person).
Check it out soon as it has that cool 'new cafe smell' everyone's talking about. Cheers!

Pros: Healthy, Pleasant, Cozy

Cons: Everything tastes too good, it's hard to stop
