My favourite restaurant - Edit
My new local restaurant and have eaten out of here so much since moving to Mullingar. Such a lovely vibe, lots of great options for vegetarian or vegan. Customise the wok bowls for extra veg or tofu, halloumi or homemade falafel. Recommended cafe in Mullingar.

Vegan meals - Edit
Restaurant is always busy, very quick service..
Read moreVegan options from salads to wok dishes.
Food was nicer couple years ago, had crunchy vegetables. Recently.. vegetables are soggy and too much salt, tofu overcooked and chewy. Staff seems under pressure, forget to bring your order ? Then meal is cold or could be rice with egg. Tapp water is strong smell chlorine.

On the way back to Dublin or to Galway so is this the stop! If feels fresh, modern and in time. Good vegan desserts too and all the bowls can be made vegan.

Polite, not in a good way - Edit
They’re trying but not quite hitting the mark. The wok veg with tofu was nice but nothing special, it lacked any real flavour or spice, was all very polite.

Lovely Food, Great Veggie Selection - Edit
Lovely little spot in Mullingar, nice menu with lots of options that can be made vegan or vegetarian. Very friendly staff, good knowledge and very helpful. On the main street with parking outside. You can bring your doggie to their outdoor seating too which is a bonus.

Selection of options - Edit
Been wanting to try here for a while. Was happy to see a decent amount of dishes to choose from. Opted for the wok dish which didn't really need the tofu I added on, was really tasty and filling. Service was prompt and the atmosphere was nice. You order at the counter and food is delivered to the table.

Recent visit with my family while travelling in Westmeath, loved this restaurant, delicious food, lots of options! The vegetable coconut curry with tofu and the wholesome stir were so nice, still dreaming about them.

Filling food - Edit
We had earth bowl in wraps (it said whole wheat wraps, but you tell me if that looks like whole wheat). It was really good! A good variety of veggies and everything. Soup of the day was vegan. Tasty and filling

Well worth a visit! - Edit
Myself and my wife love visiting here. She is coeliac and we both eat vegan which can be difficult trying to find gluten free food also. Nice selection here and you can customise many dishes. Like the other reviewers say there’s a lovely atmosphere with friendly staff. If you’re in the area it’s a must visit. Definitely if you want to get the best vegan food in Mullingar.

Lovely fresh wraps and outside seating - Edit
I had an earthbowl wrap and soup. Really delicious. Crispy chickpeas and creamy avocado with lots of other goodies. The sun came out for us so we sat in the pavement area. Hubby had a satay salad bowl with tofu substituted for c•••••n. He found the rice and tofu hard. He loved the sauce and the flavours but was not impressed with the texture unfortunately. Definitely would visit again as we were able to top up the charge on our car very nearby and plenty of vegan options and helpful staff.
Read moreSecond visit - avoided the rice and tofu and changed my rating from 3 to 4 stars. Everything we ordered this time was fresh, delicious and could not be faulted. Earth bowl with falafel and a side of herbed potatoes and an earth wrap with tomato soup. Yummy 😋

Varias opciones veganas - Edit
Buen sitio para comer algo en Mullingar. Especificar que se quiere vegano, porque en algunos platos sale la marca de vegano, pero significa que puede ser vegano, no que lo sea.

My Favourite! - Edit
I’m a local and a regular here and can’t recommend it enough. Very few vegan options here in the midlands and when I travel I always look forward to coming back here. Most dishes can be made veggie or vegan and lots of specials added to keep you coming back. Eggs are local and free range, no palm oil or processed ingredients used in products, all packaging compostable, no plastic, coffee is organic, restaurant is carbon neutral - all other pluses why I love their ethos!

Great find - Edit
Went here as was passing through and threw on the happy cow app and this place came up on route. It was great as my omni wife got her fix as well as me. I got the Thai noodles with tofu. They were nice but would have been nicer with more veg. But I'd defo stop off again if passing. Most their dishes can be made vegan which is great.

Would Give it 5 Stars! - Edit
Recommended by a friend recently and finally got to visit. Was not disappointed. Lots of veggie & vegan options, homemade treats and their specials are great too. First tried their food at my friends home party where they did amazing catering food. Lots of Asian style wok dishes that you can alter to suit your diet. Lovely casual space with the friendliest of staff. Cant wait for my next visit. Wish there was one of these closer to where I live

Not actually vegan friendly. - Edit
Multiple bad experiences here. Staff don't seem to understand what vegan means. On multiple occasions have found animal products in my food after specifying vegan, and the receipt even says "vegan" on it... they have also served rancid tofu, and when I mentioned it they tried to act like that was just what tofu tastes like. I wouldn't trust that anything they serve is actually vegan. And while we are at it, they boast about not having a deep fryer, but their potatoes are absolutely swimming in oil.

Gorgeous restaurant in Mullingar. Stopped here for lunch when passing through the area and was very impressed with the range of options in terms of both mains and sweet treats. Staff are very friendly, service is efficient and the whole restaurant is beautifully presented. You could tell the food was really fresh. Everything was delicious. I'll definitely be back.

This is my local and I love it. So amazing to have this on my doorstep, wish there was one of these in every town. I still find it hard to get vegan options when out and about and WK does not disappoint. Love the interior and atmosphere here, staff are so nice. Highly recommend if you’re in the area.

As the title says if I could get this restaurant 5 stars I would. Great selection on their menu which is all made fresh and most dishes can be made vegetarian or vegan. Found the staff very knowledgable, friendly and helpful. Lovely vibe in this place. Had heard so much about it that we travelled to it. Worth the visit and we’ve already planned our next get together.

Best restaurant, amazing food! - Edit
This restaurant was recommended by a few friends and boy it doesn’t disappoint. Really well designed restaurant with a great menu. Lots of vegan and veggie options to choose from even with their desserts. Loved the flavour of all the foods. Really hit the spot with making great tasting healthy food. Haven’t came across any other decent places to eat in Mullingar, Tullamore or Athlone. Great find and not too far from our door stop. Lovely casual vibe and the nicest staff we came across. We’ll be back!

Love this restaurant and such an amazing addition to the midlands! Love their menu and the fact that they’ve so many options for vegans and veggies. I’m a coeliac on top of this and usually find it impossible dining out. Well done guys, amazing decor and staff. So friendly. Will definitely be back soon.
