Great Whole Foods

This is a great Whole Foods (probably the largest in RI?) with a wonderful selection. Only drawback is due to state law they don't sell wine or beer, but there's a great liquor store a couple doors down!

Reliable Whole Foods

This is one of the better whole foods I've been too, always having vegan options in the fresh area. Super convenient layout and easy to find. It was hard to park in the busier hours, but I've also been there when it was empty.

first choice shopping in Providence

I thought this WF worth mentioning, as the setup, selection, parking and vegan options are worth while for a grocery stop. I do not make a habit of reviewing large chains, but appreciated my experience enough at this location to give it a mention. Staff were helpful and knowledgeable, we found everything we needed- with some searching and clarification- and we were very happy with our experience. I will definitely shop here again as a first choice if I am in Providence.

Pros: helpful staff, well-stocked bulk and grocery, easy parking & location

Cons: some items hard to locate

What you would expect...

This is a typical Wholefoods... There are plenty of vegan products to be had - just take a look. The hot food bar has plenty of vegan options. The bakery has 2 or 3 vegan scones and a few cookies along with some cakes. You can have a vegan burrito made to order with vegan cheese (no extra charge) The same goes for pizza - there's always one or two vegan slices available or simply order a whole pie - no extra charge for vegan cheese. (The pizzas were a bit better when there was an actual vegan making them!)

Pros: Plenty of parking.

Cons: Can get pretty busy.

BIG fan!

Say what you will about chains, I shop here at least once a week. I love love love the varieties offered! The staff is absolutely wonderful! (I could name a few in particular who are just fabulous). I love that I'm able to travel a very short distance and get EVERYTHING I need! Store is always so clean and well-put together.

Cons: Expensive :-/
