Best grocery store - Edit
Whole foods has everything you can think of that is vegetarian, vegan, gluten free etc. They also have samples of different things on the weekends. There is also a section where you grab cooked food to sit and eat there. The only con I would have to say about Wholefoods is that everything is fairly costly so be prepared.
