Everything You Need in a Supermarket - Edit
Whole Foods in Georgetown is a really great, really immense place to shop. It, like just about any other Whole Foods, takes an all-encompassing approach to healthy, organic grocery.
They have food ready for take out, a salad bar, huge wine selection, organic items of all sorts and brands, personal hygiene goods and items, supplements, gifts, flowers... it is hard to name something that they are lacking.
Some additional features that put this particular Whole Foods over the top is its free underground parking garage with a service whereby they send your groceries from the checkout directly to the garage and give them to you as you pull out in your car! Just mention this service (it's free) to your checkout person.
They also have bins for used batteries and another for Preserve toothbrushes!
This Whole Foods Market has everything I can imagine. If I lived closer I would certainly shop there more often. It is accessible by Metro Buses lines: 31, 32, 36.
