Smaller store but standard fare

All the products you expect to find at a Whole Foods are here, but the variety might be a whee bit smaller. However, that is hardly noticeable. When you walk in, you will see the beautiful produce and flowers/ plants to greet you. Plenty of freshly cut fruits, many organic veggies and fruits, and as you continue along, some prepared foods that are veg friendly.

Their prepared foods made in-house are of a smaller selection than most other WF stores in the area. They have only one self-serve bar of salad fixings, mostly vegetarian items, just a few that aren't. They have one self-serve bar that is quite small for hot foods and soups, but pretty slim pickings for veg*ns. At the back of it all, they have the "ask-the-staff-for-food-in-the-display-case" section. All the items seem to have their own prices from $5.99-11.99 per pound, but most of the veg items are about $7.99, like broccoli rabe, string beans, snow peas, broccoli, carrots, sweet potatoes, General Tso's vegan chik'n, herbed or braised tofu, noodles, rices and pastas.

It is challenging to park here at times, and hard to depart. It's a small and awkward lot.

It's also a no frills store - there is no coffee bar or wide selection of other service-based foods/beverages prepared for you to take to go or even consume at the store.

Although the selection isn't the best, it's better for veg*ns than most other eating options in this direct area of Bethesda. They have a few seats to sit near the registers if you have food you can't wait to consume. Still, if possible, consider venturing to the nearby newer WF in Friendship Heights - the options are greater for the pre-made food and the regular stock food items!

Pros: Veg friendly, Produce displays

Cons: Small WF store, Awkward parking lot, Small seating area
