Good meal in the mountains - Edit
Stopped here travelling from Vancouver to Calgary. Very warm greeting and lovely atmosphere in a cosy mountain town. Ordered the yam burger to eat in and slice of vegan chocolate cake to go. Burger was very tasty and the cake even more so once we'd arrived in Calgary.

We had the Yam burger and Vermicelli salad. Was a vegan chocolate cake on offer but we didn't try it. Service was good. We arrived quite late so we were happy the served food right up to closing time.

Nice Meal - Edit
We buzzed through Golden on our way west and were happy to stumble upon the Whitetooth Mountain Bistro. We started with the Dill Pickle Hummus which was fantastic! I was shocked. I had the Cold Vermicelli Salad which has vermicelli noodles, edamame, julienne vegetables, slaw, green onions, pickled onions, orange ginger soy glaze and crispy tofu. Unfortunately, there was no edamame on it which was a bummer. I found the flavors very bland but they provided hot sauce which gave it some added zing. I would rate it a 3.5 out of 5 because the presentation was lovely. My husband had the Quinoa Salad and loved it. It had greens, quinoa, toasted pumpkin seeds, feta, avocado, cranberries, broccoli, and nutritional yeast dressing. Our other non-vegan family loved their meals. The server was very attentive.

Had the portobello burger that was absolutely delicious - wow! Several tasty, creative salads where the feta or goat cheese can be left out. Rounded out with the vegan chocolate tart with a salty twist that was also very special and simply delicious!

I had hoped to order the Power Bowl, but it wasn't on the menu. I had the Udon bowl and Potato Wedges. They also have a Yam Burger on the Menu.

A definite try if you’re vegan or vegetarian. Quite a few options and it’s delicious. Yam burger. So good. Great bowls with crispy tofu options done to perfection. Great vibe and music. Outstanding service. Great wine selection.
