Pretty tasty cake donuts - Edit
I had the cinnamon sugar and my daughter had the sprinkle. Would definitely eat again! Great central location and near the flower house for coffee.

Loved the vegan donuts - Edit
Worth a trip! We got the vegan spice cake donuts but they tasted more like a delicious classic glazed cake doughnut.

A little disappointed - Edit
Homey atmosphere and very friendly staff. Vegan doughnuts: meh. They had one kind only, and vegan doughnuts are twice the price of regular ones (though I didn't find this out until she rang me up -- the price list doesn't mention it). $24 is a lot for six doughnuts. The doughnut tasted pretty good but had absorbed way too much oil. Maybe they need hotter oil. Would give them another chance when I 'm feeling flush, but they really should update their sign.

Really appreciated a selection of vegan donuts. Great deck with enough coverage to keep dry from the rain.

Delicious Vegan Doughtnuts! - Edit
Whidbey Doughnuts has delicious vegan yeasted doughnuts! The vegan ones are square; they had both a glazed and a frosted kind when I visited. They also have a great patio/outdoor seating area!

Good lunch stop on the island - Edit
Not many vegan options, just a couple modified salads, granola, and a tomato basil soup, however the soup was quite excellent. But the real draw for us were the donuts. They offer a few daily flavors of their vegan donut options, ranging from glazed to chocolate iced; they usually make cake donuts on the weekdays, adding raised vegan donuts on the weekends. Top it with coffee and soy milk and it's a more than adequate lunch on an island with few vegan options. A homey diner in an old building with a large outdoor seating area perfect for nice weather dining.
