great to have vegan options - Edit

This place is vegetarian but with marked vegan options. We tried a few things for breakfast and lunch and were quite pleased. The waffles were great as were the gyoza and jackfruit sliders. Vegan smoothies and drinks as well. Only downside is not too many desserts and almost all (or all?) the ones that were there were all raw. But still way more options than anywhere else in Bright.

new chef creating delicious food - Edit

What You Eat cafe being the only place you can get vegan food locally does not disappoint! They have an amazing chef who love to create new seasonal dishes. Coffee is very good and the staff are super friendly.

Average menu - Edit

We thought this place was OK but very limited menu. The desserts selection was limited to one cake and 3 different bliss balls. The chocolate bliss ball tasted of mint which wasn't advertised so my 5 year old wouldn't eat it as it was too strong a flavour for her. Nice smoothies though. Felt quite empty in there and lacking character. We were in bright again this week but decided to try somewhere different.

Pros: nice smoothies

Cons: lack of choice, poor labelling of flavours, lack of atmosphere
