Great food - sometimes inconsistent - Edit
Have eaten here a few times over the last few weeks and have enjoyed the food thoroughly, it is just a bit inconsistent quality wise…

My partner (who is a meat eater and adores this place) and I often pick up a cheeky weeknight takeaway from here. Friendly staff, quick cooking times, nice and affordable and most importantly: delicious food. Some of our go-tos are: vegan honey chicken, combination fried rice, vegan chicken wings, vegan chicken satay sticks, singapore noodle, cashew nut stir fry.

Love this place - Edit
Seriously good food for great prices. I crave their food and this is the Asian food vegan standard we judge others by. BBQ buns are spectacular. We always get those plus special fried rice, Thai cashew veggies and honey chick’n. We used to go every Sunday night but they are no longer open Sunday 😢. We go when we can! Love it!

In a restaurant, in a west end town - Edit
We came for dinner before a concert. It wasn’t too busy but they did have a lot of take out and it got busier as we ate.
Read moreI ordered the satay noodles, we shared a plate of mixed entrees and my partner had the yellow curry.
Service was quick and pleasant. My noodles weren’t amazing but they were fine and I liked that you could choose a mix of entrees. The curry puffs were my favourite of the fried entrees.
My partner said the yellow curry was nice.
Servings were generous without being overwhelming. Prices were great.

I like it just wish we got a stir fry with vegetables to go with vegan pork and chicken which was good but so sweet with no vegetables. Staff were nice.

Loving Hut Style Spot on West End - Edit
Pad Thai is extremely sweet and there is no amount of spice that will make it interesting. Couldn't finish the dish. Needs something to spice it up, otherwise it's tooooo sugary.

Worth a visit! - Edit
A very assuming little restaurant in a great location. Our main meals were great, satay tofu, beef black bean and the best one was the lemon honey chicken. The steamed dim sim starter was not great though, tasted kinda strange…but that would be my only complaint with the meal. The prices were incredibly reasonable, three of us ate there for $68 including two drinks and we were very full.

my first visit to West End Vegan Restaurant (25/10/2024) … I order crispy eggless noodles … I was surprised with the quantity and quality of the food … crispy veggies on a bed of eggless noodles with a delicious sauce … the restaurant is conveniently located to public transport near the corner of Boundary Road and Vulture Street, West End

Decent - Edit
West End Vegan Restaurant has decent Chinese-Vietnamese Inspired Thai Food. The mixed entrée was perfect - crispy and flavourful. Mock chicken nuggets is used for the satay skewers and the satay sauce is not peanut based (if you were expecting a peanut sauce). The yellow curry and the eggless crispy noodles leans towards the saltier side (if you like that extra hit of salt). Cutlery and drinks are self serve so help yourselves. Portions are worth the prices.
Read morePros: Friendly customer service , Nice ambience, Affordable priced menu
Cons: Some dishes may be quite salty
