The Long Gallery is an absolutely gorgeous setting for afternoon tea and I was delighted to find out they do a full vegan spread. The table staff were friendly but professional. However, the chef neglected to give me the vegan cream because it meant having to make it up especially for me, though they did make it for me when I swallowed my shyness and insisted. Then they gave me a non-vegan dessert by mistake.
Large cafe with a couple of vegan options. Enjoyed a sweet potato, falafel and hummus toasted sandwich. We ate in the Butler’s Pantry, which is a little dated but what can you expect circa 1725 house?! Amazing country side views if you can get a window seat!
Amazing vegan afternoon tea option. Includes - finger sandwiches, scones, falafel “sausage” rolls, desserts and unlimited tea (several tea options and also vegan mills available). The food was delicious and they didn’t give you less food on the vegan option (which does seem to happen in some places), if anything I think I got more food! The room itself is the Long Gallery, an absolutely beautiful room. Amazing setting and lovely service! I don’t think they advertise the vegan option online but you can make a note of it when booking online.
