Our favourite hotel in the area.

My partner has to travel to this area for work frequently throughout the year, and it’s always a pleasure to visit here. I’m lucky that I get to travel with him.
We pay a similar price to stay here as we would at the premier inn yet the accommodation is such a high standard. The staff are really attentive and the rooms have wonderful views. We were able to ask for some soya milk to have in the room which were they were happy to accommodate.

Whilst we haven’t ever had dinner here (the menu seems to be lacking in vegan options), we always have a fabulous vegan full English breakfast with toast, sausage, mushroom, baked, beans, hash brown, tomatoes, and avocado. They also provide soya milk and vegan butter if you ask. There is also continental breakfast, but there is limited vegan options and I tend to just have the fruit and orange juice.

Pros: Great vegan breakfast , Plant milk & dairy free butter available

Cons: Dinner menu lacking options

A couple of vegan options

As with a lot of expensive restaurants, it’s a very meat-heavy menu. I wasn’t offered a separate vegan menu but both vegan options (one starter, one main) were clearly marked and the wine list also shows which wines are vegan. Tempura broccoli (£8.50) was delicious, pearl barley was a bit bland (£18.95).
