Excellent food - Edit
Love this place. Used to order delivery when the first started, when to their first location, picked up from the ghost kitchen, and now visit their perma spot. Seems the service hasn’t worked out the kinks yet so good comes out slow and not all together.

Remove AI taking orders. Improve look of restaurant. This looks like i went to my high school cafeteria - i would not dine in. This is not a restaurant - i better eat at home.
Read moreVery common in Denver - “restaurants” that look like cafeterias - no service. I can cook at home so why i should come to you? You order on a huge ipad with no privacy, no one to ask questions to, and at the end the ipad has the guts to ask for tip….for what? Yes food is good (I would not say excellent - i had better plant based sushi) but if i dine in i want to relax, i want to talk to a human being and enjoy a good looking place. Idiocracy (movie - I recommend watching) here we come!
Pros: Food was good
Cons: AI taking orders - absolute NO NO , Requesting tips when there are no servers, Place looks horrible

I think this has changed. There were people taking orders when I went today and I was able to ask all my questions. This place was so cute and not cafeteria-like at all! It was clean looking with lovely art and sayings on the wall. It clearly has had a lot of love and hard work put into it and I think it deserves as much business as possible!

Absolutely incredible - Edit
I never had sushi prior to being vegan so I know I don’t have anything to compare it to but I must say this was amazing. Everything that was ordered was 10/10 I can’t wait to try more rolls off their menu! Also they were willing to accommodate me since I have a seafood allergy I tend to avoid seaweed and they were able to make my roll with rice paper instead. So grateful!

HOLY WOW is the food here incredible!
Read moreI first tried Wellness Sushi when they had it at Nooch (so sad they are gone) and loved it then but having it made fresh and the rice still warm rather than pulled from a refrigerated case takes things to the next level.
The setting is nice and uncomplicated - you order at the counter or kiosk and they call you or bring your food to you when it's ready. The atmosphere is clean and simple so it's the food that takes center stage here and it so deserves to be there. The truffle sauce they use on some of their items is positively orgasmic.
The folks who work here are lovely as well. I can't recommend it enough - plus it's just nextdoor to an independent bookstore and an independent music store. How could you go wrong?
Pros: Unbelievably Delicious Food, ALL Vegan, Did I mention the food????

The Best - Edit
This place is incredible. The rolls are out of this world and the spicy ramen is absurdly delicious. It is consistently perfect and the staff is always friendly.

Fast casual western-style Japanese - Edit
It’s always a treat to be able to get Japanese food without worrying about animal products. This place wasn’t trying to be authentic. The miso soup was really good. The sushi rolls were a bit heavy on sauces and the curry was very thin.

This place is great! I got the fried tofu onigiri and it was the best onigiri I've ever had. I feel very lucky to have this place within walking distance of my new apartment.

Probably my favorite restaurant! - Edit
This place has spoiled me with vegan sushi. If I ever crave sushi, I will only go here. I no longer like going to non-vegan sushi restaurants just to get a basic cucumber roll. I live a little over an hour away and it’s worth the drive!!

Easy to choose as all items are plant based. We picked 5 items to share. Everything we had was good. Sushi rolls, tofu curry, katsu, ramen noodles.

Don't miss fish ever again - Edit
One of the things I thought I gave up going vegan was really saucy hearty sushi. An avo cucumber roll was just not the same thing. Then in came Wellness Sushi and my world changed and I don't miss fish sushi any more. I feel so proud that Denver has some of the best vegan sushi in the US, I only wish it was cheaper so I could eat it more.

Best vegan sushi! - Edit
I was obsessed with sushi before going vegan and have had a gaping void in my soul for it ever since giving it up. I've been here twice now and have felt fully satisfied both times.
Read moreThe only complaint is that at 5:30pm on a Saturday night, it was packed to almost full capacity and we waited 40 minutes for our food. It didn't bother us too much since at least it means a good vegan business is getting a lot of customers and support, but just try not to go TOO hungry if it's a weekend so the wait isn't as agonizing.
Pros: Wide variety of options, Not overpriced
Cons: Long wait times on weekend nights

Best Sushi Ever - Edit
I used to love sushi before going vegan. I have tried a lot of vegan sushi too. This is by far the best. We got the Krunchy Krab, Ebi Tempura, Fiery Philly, and the Ohinagi Rolls. The flavor, the amount, and the complexity. So amazing. So so great. Can't wait to make this our regular stomping ground.

It's great to see Wellness back in a physical location. Their spot next to the Tattered Cover is perfect. We went on a Friday afternoon, parking is easy in the free garage, and oddly there were no East High students in the area.
