Good sushi, atrocious wait times - Edit
We were really excited to eat here after traveling from the Western Slope. We love sushi!
Read moreWe were quickly disappointed though. We ordered four rolls and they are literally four pieces of sushi each and it was about $65. We left hungry and immediately went to a vegan pizza place and ate a full meal there. Not only that but we waited 55 minutes to get 4 baby rolls of sushi, which is absolutely crazy.
They were out of their tea at the drink station with no attempt to refill. They were out of silverware and napkins, and no one in the restaurant seem to be willing to answer questions. Would not go back. I don’t have the highest expectations in the world, but for the price point at this place the service the wait times and the effort should be way better. The food is good, but I really don’t know how they have this many good reviews.

Best sushi! - Edit
Absolutely delicious option! I have the ahi taco and crab taco. Both were just as good as when I used to eat seafood. The crispy rice was perfect with the avocado on top. And I loved the crispy tofu. It was crispy on the outside and soft on the inside

Amazing - Edit
Interesting dishes and great sushi. Kakiage Supreme and Ohnagi roll were my favorite. Smoky sake, Tokyo drift, and krunchy krab were also good also. Spicy ramen was really tasty.

Hours not accurate on website - Edit
We drove in before our flight out and after paying for parking and walking, found out they have limited hours on Monday and are completely closed Tuesdays. Very sad.

Excellent food, slow service - Edit
Improve the time to get served, and I would rate it 5 stars. I've been there about 5 times. The last 2 times, I ordered on line, and showed up at the promised time. I had to wait 20 minutes the first time and 30 minutes the second time. And the promised time was 2 hours out. I would love if they would expand and hire more people because sushi is fantastic.

Try it! You won’t regret it - Edit
Delicious ramen, probably in my top 3 now! I also ordered the kakiage supreme and Tokyo drift rolls, which were so good. Highly recommend and if I’m ever back in CO, I’d go back and definitely dine in.
Read moreOnly negative was that I had to order for delivery because I didn’t have a car and my noodles were stuck to the paper carry-out box by the time it arrived.

So happy to have this in Denver! - Edit
Absolutely loved this spot. While my husband was in Twist and Shout and after I got done at Tattered Cover, I made the few steps over to Wellness Sushi and was so delighted! I asked for recommendations from the staff and I got the Tokyo Drift Roll and the Tantan Ramen. Both were excellent and I can't wait to come back and try more!

My 2nd Home - Edit
I literally come to this place once a week if I can. They always have great food. You will have to wait if they are busy bc of the high demand but its worth it. I love getting the spicy "chicken" wontons, pressed sushi, and Broccolidon. The food is always fresh and crispy 😋

Catch of the day - Edit
What an incredible find Wellness Sushi has been. This was my first 100% vegan sushi concept and it did not disappoint. From their rolls to their appetizers to their donburi bowls, this place was absolutely incredible. Great for a quick bite or a nice meal and the staff are super friendly! My non-vegan partner was very impressed; I think this was the place that really opened his eyes to what vegan fare could be.

We recently just had an incredible eggplant unagi nigiri in Chicago, so we were excited to try the Ohnagi roll. The smokey sake roll was a bit chewy, but otherwise the rolls were great.

Best sushi in Denver! - Edit
In my top few favorite restaurants in Denver. Great, central location in Denver across from East High School. Street parking has never been a problem for me, but they do have access to a free parking garage as well. Handy during the endless road contruction.

Denver fave: stellar flavor and texture - Edit
A must-try! One of the challenges with plant-based sushi is creating interesting flavor while maintaining balance between ingredients. Wellness sushi does an impressive job of this - and everything else on the menu. We particularly love the ramen, the Tokyo Drift Roll, and the Kakiage Supreme roll, but everything we’ve tried is excellent.
Read moreFriendly service and reasonable prices considering the quality. After several visits it has become one of our very favorite eateries in Colorado.

100% DELICIOUS plant-based Sushi in Denver! - Edit
Wellness Sushi in Denver is an absolute GEM!
Read moreAs it's 100% plant-based, anyone can order freely without having to ask 1,000 questions about ingredients.
My favorite thing to get here is the soy-free FIERY PHILLY ROLL (Jalapeno Tempura, Vegan Sundried-Tomato Cheese, Avocado, Cucumber, Malina's Sweet Mango, Shichimi *Contains Cashew Nuts, Gluten, etc.,). My go-to habit is Fiery Philly Roll + something I haven't tried before.
The GRILLED GOYZA is amazing, as are the following (which I've personally tried):
OKINAWA ONIGIRI
Avocado Roll
Veggie Spring Rolls...
Honestly, I've never had anything but amazing food here. I cannot recommend Wellness Sushi enough!
This is perfect for takeout, but the tiny restaurant–wedged in-between Chipotle and Twist & Shout on Colfax (near Tattered Cover and Sie Film Center)–is super cute, too.
Pros: Fiery Philly Roll, Okinawa Onigiri, Avocado Roll

Smells like Oil - Edit
We came here for lunch on a Sunday. Not busy but our food took an hour to come out. The whole place smelled like refried oil and after we left, our hair and clothes continued smelling like it. I wish I had listened to the other reviewer who mentioned this.
