A Fabulous Find - Edit
So glad to find a fully vegan place in Shreveport. Food and service are excellent. Portions are very large. We took leftovers home and enjoyed them for dinner in our hotel room. The Seasonal Bowl was especially delicious and could easily feed two.

Okay Spot - Edit
Decent lunch selection but overall I wasn't impressed with the food. Its a shame because Shreveport needs more vegan options. I recommend if you are close by but I wouldn't go out of your way to go there.

Great little cafe... - Edit
Popped in for a coffee and a quick bite. At the suggestion of the friendly guy behind the counter, I had the "Green Bowl." It was a great pick, as the bowl was filled with flavor.
Read moreGreat coffee, as well. I always love being able to pick from a random assortment of mugs and (re)fill as needed. It's a nice switch from corporate coffeeshops. This place feels comfortable, real, and lived in. If I lived in Shreveport, this would be my Saturday morning spot...
I was interested in the freshly made baked goods that were being delivered as I stood at the counter, but it turns out those items had cashew milk, so that was a no-go for me. If you can't have nuts, be sure to check with the staff about ingredients before ordering.
Pros: Lots of choices, Good food, Great coffee
Cons: Need more nut-free options

Good vegan food in Shreveport - Edit
Service was fast on a Friday lunchtime--walk up counter, a server brought it out a few minutes later. They unfortunately were out of tortilla chips and I couldn't get the nachos, but I got a very respectable sandwich.

An oasis - Edit
We were delighted to find this vegan food oasis in the midst of a cross country trip with very very few vegan options across the south. The space itself is really beautiful both inside and on the outside back deck seating area. The food was phenomenal, the smoothie bowl hit the spot in the midst of the intense heat. We also really enjoyed the lox toast, the carrot locks were very flavorful and the meld of all of the different flavors and textures was on point. A definite must do if you are in the area.

Vegan AND Gluten-free - Edit
Being vegan with a wheat allergy is…a bummer. I found this place on my way through Shreveport & it’s pretty good. We were there for breakfast, and the options were sorely limited. Went with the BLT & my hub got the avocado toast. The avocado toast was perfection, the BLT - not so much. The faux bacon was shaved, toasted coconut, and while the color & texture were on-point, it was just overwhelmingly coconutty. I scraped off most of the coconut & was left with a decent breakfast sandwich. The gluten-free bread was amazeballs. Truly the best I’ve had.
Read moreKnocked off a star bc they were out of coffee. Seriously? 10am & someone needed to go pick up beans & just hadn’t gotten around to it. Coffee’s important, especially at breakfast.
The cafe itself is delightful - clean, bright & airy - and the staff couldn’t be friendlier.

Great food! Great place! - Edit
This is the only actual vegan restaurant in town. We have tried most of the things they offer, and have never been disappointed. The food is delicious! They also recently improve their space indoors. We usually sit outdoors on their patio. It’s very peaceful. I found it to be a convenient place to talk for business lunch - or friends or family lunch. I am addicted to the BLT and juices. Staff is always friendly.

Being from California, I wasn’t blown away by this place, but it is a nice option. The chickpea sandwich was okay. The bread on it was very fresh. I will definitely have to come back and try more of their menu.

Worth the wait - Edit
I had been dying to try this place for weeks and I was finally able to go today! I was BEYOND impressed. My son and I went- he’s breastfeeding and we’ve been dairy free 7 of the 8 months he’s been born, they let me breastfeed in the main area of the restaurant. It was so nice to not worry about what to order! I had the strawberry cream cheese toast, a cacao smoothie, the spicy chickpea burger, the charcoal lemonade and a dark chocolate snack bar. I will definitely be back to try everything else on the menu!! I only hope they keep adding more options. EVERYONE there was so friendly and nice! They all spoke to me and gushed over my son!

Great place to hang out and delicious food - Edit
The place is beautiful and everything tasted great. The cream cheese strawberry toast tasted like cupcake frosting that is not too sweet. The spicy chickpea burger had crunchy toast and soft, flavorful patty with nice creamy sauce. Fruit bowls are lovely. The spinach one could use more sweet/sour flavor. I hope they add more food on the menu.

Well Fed! - Edit
The food here was absolutely amazing. When we walked in a man was on the phone telling his coworkers about it and he ended up ordering food for all of them and a loaf of bread too because he liked it so much. We felt the same way- I had the broccoli cheese soup and a coconut bacon BLT. My partner had a spicy chickpea burger and we split one of their fresh juices. We both cleaned our plates. It had a diverse crowd, there was definitely something for everyone.

Don’t drive out of Shreveport without stopping here! - Edit
We were in town visiting family and stopped by Well Fed 4 different times! We took a couple of omnivores to eat with us and they loved it! The menu has expanded since they opened and they have a special that changes daily as well. I ate the special all four days and was never disappointed. Mexi Quinoa Bowl, Frito Pie, Chickpea Salad Sandwich and Nachos! We loved all the fresh juice we tried and they were great about letting us taste them! We need more places like this in the south!!!

I had to spend a few days in Shreveport and was nervous that I had not packed enough food options. When I saw that this was a fully vegan restaurant, I stopped by early to pick up a few items. The charcoal savory waffles were to die for. The chickpea burger was amazing and the justice were yummy. The charcoal lemonade was so good, I cannot wait to go back to get another one.
