Square croissants! - Edit
We ordered a pistachio cream donut and a square croissant that was cut on the top and served with gooey cheese so it was like a fondue. We really liked the concept and the flavors were great, but $19 total for these 2 items that were not terribly huge is kinda ridiculous...

Very interesting and nice croissants 🥐 - Edit
Had a cookie dough filled croissant and a donut. You can even have squared croissants. All vegan, so you don’t have to think about options because everything is possible. Nice place in the centre of Melbourne.

If I lived near here I'd be here all the time. Their croissant sandwiches and deserts were amazing. We loved everything we ate here. I only wish we lived closer.

Quaint little find! - Edit
It's located in the heart of the city, but it's easy to pass it when walking down Flinders Lane. The staff are always super nice and they'll always give you recommendations if you're unsure of what to get. The chocolate croissant is so nice and definitely encapsulates the baked goods that I miss. I also tried their ham and cheese toasted croissant and it was pretty nice, but it caught me off guard that it was a bit expensive because their posting of the prices is a little bit unclear. It's a very nice place, so if you want a quick something to eat, this place is perfect!

Good bakery - Edit
Little & nice place, there is no many seats. I took a limited edition caramel apple donut, it was good, not oily as regular donut. The design of the store is funny.

Great concept! - Edit
Nice to see a fully plantbased bakery where everything would be very appealing to non-vegans too:) definitely no one can resist to their sweets!! I had a pastrami which was very tasy, not too greasy! Matcha oat mylk latte was a bit bland though, they barely put in any matcha powder. Music was a bit too loud but overall very supportive of this place!

Amazing completely vegan café, great for breakfast or lunch. - Edit
This is a truly wonderful place. Everything is extremely delicious (except for maybe the Apple Pie Latte, which tastes like warm watery apple juice with foam on top) and there is a great range of both sweet and savoury options. The Hot Chocolate Fudge with peanut butter is the most delicious vegan hot beverage I've ever tasted. :D

owning the vegan pastry game - Edit
Weirdoughs is very close to my workplace and we have a Friday team breakfast croissant ritual. A friend recently told me that her workplace keeps the same tradition, which speaks to the popularity of their pastries. The rainbow almost croissant is my original favourite. The filling is so sweet and rich, it almost tastes like honey to me. The reuben is amazing too - on a croissant or on charcoal bread if you prefer to err on the side of caution. I die for their affogato too. My favourite one ever was made with the gelato with vegan bacon bits. It was incredibly, surprisingly good. I’d recommend Weirdoughs as a must eat for vegans visiting Melbourne. I doubt you’ll find a better vegan pastry anywhere in the world.

Delicious vegan bakery - Edit
Weirdoughs only comes up if you have your HappyCow app to include bakeries as my companion did. I didn't, so would have missed it. Do note they don't take cash, card only.
Read moreWe went a couple of times, friendly staff. I doubt anyone could tell these croissants were vegan. We tried the savoury croissants, sweet croissants and donuts. We liked the sweet croissants the best - the almond croissant was flaky & delicious. Really liked the (pistachio) donut - not overly sweet like many vegan donuts I've found. Can take-away or there are several small table and chairs to eat-in.

I haven't had a croissant in a couple years and these were amazingly flakey and delicious! It was hard to decide what to order because everything looked tasty 😋. The chai latte was full of spice and flavor. The staff are friendly and the decor was fun and inviting.

Great 4 sweet or savory lunches - Edit
Out front display of their products will get your mouth watering. Fluffy and delicious croissants. Sandwich options as well as doughnuts and other sweets. Nothing disappointing with great Rubens or ham/chz with a touch of sauce. Almost too full for desert 🤤 Deserves a stop in to get some chill vibes and friendly people! Will be back to this newly discovered favorite.
