I've tried eating here several times but it's been packed every single time. So book a table in advance, even if it is just when they open.

Awesome tofu - Edit
I got the vegetarian bibimbap without the egg to make it vegan. The sauce that came with it was super tasty and the tofu had really nice consistency. Would recommend!

The food was super tasty and they could make almost any dish vegan. The gyoza where plentiful and yummy. The tofu was well done and flavourful. Will definitely go again. Perfect for a business lunch or fancy evening meal.

We took the gyoza and the wok. Both were very good. We had to ask if the dumplings were vegan, as this wasn't marked in the menu, but the staff seemed to be considerate.
Read moreWe were on a budget, so didn't order much. The restaurant was also rather busy, so it felt like they wanted us to finish as soon as possible.

Zu Besuch in Stockholm waren wir auf der Suche nach einem Restaurant mit veganen und nicht veganen Angeboten und sind auf dieses asiatische Restaurant gestoßen. Trotz der vielen Besucher, haben wir mit kurzer Wartezeit einen Tisch bekommen und wurden zügig & sehr freundlich bedient. Es gibt bei vielen Gerichten eine vegane Option und man kann zwischen Sushi, Woks & Currys bis zu Gyoza wählen.

Weidao has a little of everything: Chinese, Japanese, Korean.. and it's all utterly yummy. The catch here is to ensure you ask about extra vegan dishes, in addition to the ones indicated as such in the menu. This is particularly true if you visit them for lunch, when the vegan by default options are just two. However, all the woks can be veganised too, and so you may get half a dozen gyozas and, say, the gorgeous sichuan wok with tofu for a mere 130 sek. This is pretty much as good as it gets when it comes to lunch alternatives, both in terms of quality and value for one's money. Who would have thought that such solid options would exist right next to the central station!
