I think this food might have been the tastiest I've had in 5 weeks.
Read moreYesterday i had the 香椿豆皮 soup with 麵疙瘩 (also insanely tasty and a nice change to always having noodles). This dish was my favourite i had so far in Taiwan.
I think we also had the 菜圓(the dish above the dumplings), which we actually ordered on accident but it was a surprise hit! No clue what it is😄
10/10 very sad i cant have it anymore
Pros: very friendly old ladies, english menu available, very cheap
Cons: not to spacious, 6 tables i think

We had the soup with noodles which were handmade and chewy and sooo good.
Read moreThe broth was okay. There was a Mushroom in it that just looked and tasted like meat, i was shocked and had to ask the staff about it.
There are different kinds of rice to choose, we had the "chinese" one which had some herbs on top of it. It was soooo delicious!!
Staff hardly understands english, so we used a translator. Also we had to figure out what to eat, i wrote down what i wanted but my bf didn't decide yet. The women took the card away and asked if the dishes are for two. We felt under pressure and just said yes. Service was okay.
Pros: Affordable, Delicious rice
Cons: No english, Felt under pressure to decide fast

Handmade noodles with the perfect chew - Edit
I attempted to order a pasta from the menu but they didn’t have any that day and suggested a ramen dish instead. It was handmade, extra chewy and so delicious that I was very glad they suggested it! Dishes are prepared fresh one by one so it takes time to be served, but the indoor seating is quite comfortable. They have housemade chili oil that is really tasty. Highly recommend trying the noodles here!
