Amazing vegan surprise on the campus!! - Edit

There is a vegan shop at the food court on campus!! Obviously I will come back every time I visit the campus from now on :)

Pros: Awesome wrap, Tasty onion rings with special sauce, Good price and fully vegan

Cons: The wrap was a bit small but only 6 euros

Vegan food and snacks - Edit

Leuke locatie, lekker eten. Burgers, snacks, vegan kapsalon en meer. Goede porties en erg lekker. Kapsalon: hiervoor kun je kiezen voor vegan kip of gemarineerde champignons.

Pros: Grote keuze , Lekker!!!

Best vegan eats at Zernike - Edit

Jasmine and the team are such kind people and they make such AMAZING homemade vegan food.

There is a lot of choice, whether you want something healthy (plenty of nice salads, I particularly enjoy the Thai salad) or a little bit naughty - like the burgers or the kapsalon. They also serve borrel snacks, which is great for if you fancy a few beers after a day at uni/in the labs at Zernike - they can whip up a kroketbroodje or a few bitterballen for you. They also offer sweet treats, like vegan cheesecakes and muffins.

The absolute star of the menu is the kapsalon - best vegan kapsalon in town without a doubt. Their garlic mayo is just divine.

Jasmine was working at the Italian place at the foodcourt, but opened this place up since there was more and more demand for vegan food - so now we have our own fully vegan restaurant at the foodcourt, and I couldn't be happier with this place! Thank you for opening it up Jasmine!! Now, they are even on thuisbezorgd, so delivery is an option.

Pros: The people working there really kind, Heaps of options - healthy or naughty ones ;-), Vegan kapsalon is so delicious, best in town

Cons: No downsides for me!

The onion rings were plenty 😋

Cons: Somewhat expensive, at least when ordering

Great vegan options on Zernike Campus - Edit

This vegan restaurant can easily been overlooked at the Zernike Foodcourt, because they are not openly advertising that they only serve vegan food. When asked about this, they told me that they don‘t want to shy away nonvegans 🤷‍♂️
Anyway, I had the kapsalon with mushrooms which was fantastic and there are many other great options on the menu which I will definitely try in the future.

Pros: Many choices, including traditional Dutch food, Great taste

Cons: ‚Secretly‘ vegan, Quite far away from city center, No dedicated website, e.g. with opening times
