Best Caesar Salad I've ever had. - Edit
I went to this place for lunch and had the Caesar Salad and Buckwheat noodles dish. Both are listed as gluten free.
Read moreOMG the Caesar salad was the BEST Caesar salad I've ever had. Like ever. It was listed as a starter, but was generous in size. It had chick*n fillets (which I think were mushrooms) but wow seriously delicious.
The main dish I ordered was the buckwheat noodles. It was also a generous portion, and was very tasty.
I only had a short time to visit cape town, and knew I wouldn't get a chance to go back again to this restaurant, so actually came back the very same day for dinner. Ordered the exact same 2 dishes, with the addition of sangria.
If you're in Cape Town, you must go to this restaurant. Absolutely delicious food, and very affordable.
Pros: Food was very delicious, Big portions, Affordable prices
Cons: Not a huge menu (but makes it easier to pick meal)

Read moreWe had the Mac and cheese, chefs burger and the mushroom risotto. I can’t fault any of it. All perfect, but the chefs burger was something else. I’d go back just for that.
Also - super cheap, like everywhere else in Cape Town (but we live in London so this might be specific to us). All of this, wine and beer and dessert costs us like £30. Insanely cheap for such amazing food.

Seeing all the amazing reviews I’ve decided to go and tried several things here. Unfortunately on top of very expensive prices compared to other vegan cafes in CT, I found the food very very heavy to digest and tasteless. Also didn’t seem as clean as you’d expect from a cafe with high reviews. Would not recommend it

This is my favourite vegan restaurant - not just in Cape Town, but anywhere in the world. The food is unmatched, and they actually can't keep me away. The staff know me by name because of how regularly I frequent this excellent establishment. If you're in the area, or even if it's out of your way, it's WELL worth visiting. I recommend the mushroom sandwich or tofu benedict for breakfast and the veggie bake for lunch. They also have a delicious miso caramel latte, and the most tart and energising kombucha. If you want a beautiful, delicious, home cooked style meal this is the place to go. The food is innovative and different to other vegan restaurants in the area. The owners are friendly and accommodating to anyone who walks through the door (the restaurant dog is absolutely adorable!!). Space looks beautiful and the attention to detail gives it a quirky vibe
