Very good - Edit
It’s a lovely place with beautiful decor and good food. Some menu items could be slightly more flavourful but overall it’s great! Bonus points for stunning food presentation

Excellent pastries - Edit
I’ve struggled to find really fab vegan cinnamon swirls. Decided to try here - they didn’t have any left, but the pistachio swirl was simply fantastic. Truly brilliant and friendly staff too. Plus dog friendly - and there’s a little jar with treats for your doggo !

Great coffee and friendly service. - Edit
Really nice place, great atmosphere.
Read moreCoffee was great, food was decent but the toasted brioche could have been warmer in the middle.
The pasties they have from Okja are really nice too

WAVE - Edit
I found this location to be super small compared to their other location and it felt was more like a small coffee shop, whereas the other one is more of a casual restaurant. They had seating outside but I can't remember if there was any inside (if there is it's one or two seats.) I ordered the chocolate croissant and it was dry, so much so that I threw most of it away. I was surprised by this given this is WAVE. I would only pop by again if I find myself in the area and would recommend their other location to this one.

Fine but wouldn't revisit - Edit
Had been to the other branch a few years ago but was less impressed by this one. No sweet treats took my fancy, and none of the sandwiches were that interesting. Had the broccoli one - it was fine, the bread and pea pesto were nice but wouldn't get it again. It was wrapped in a way that the paper really got stuck to it. Expensive for what it is.

Decent takeout food - Edit
I ordered from them for the first time and really enjoyed it! The pain au chocolat was slightly on the dry side, but the bacon GF pancakes were amazing - some of the best pancakes (GF or otherwise) I have ever had!! I will definitely visit when I have the chance😄

Unbeatable baps! - Edit
The tastiest baps I can recall eating in my 9 year vegan journey. We had the "winter warmer" and a breakfast bap, the tofu scramble was exceptional. I will also admit to having an almond croissant- predictably delicious. The only down side is it's quite small so chances of eating in may be limited (we got lucky with a conveniently vacated window seat). Speedy service, too. #Veganuary

Small and slow - Edit
It is definitely better than the original location in Hackney Central. Still very gentry and expensive but the food here seems better? I was only once to the original location as I didn’t like it so didn’t ever come back. Had here twice the brioche with “cream cheese”. Both times the service was extremely slow for the size of the cafe but whatever It was Sunday morning so no rush I guess

Great Mushroom Roll - Edit
I walked about a kilometre or so to visit this place since it was the closest vegan cafe to me. I stopped in for a cup of tea and a mushroom roll (it was the only thing that was gluten-free AND vegan on the menu). It was very tasty. It was also nice to have a pastry.
Read moreI liked the few sprouts on the top of the roll.
The server was very friendly and we had a good conversation.
I liked the sign on the window - We Are Vegan Everything.
The washroom was one of the smallest I had ever used. Reminded me of the toilets on the airplane - but smaller. All functional though.
Pros: Tasty vegan AND Gluten-Free

A cosy vegan corner in N16! - Edit
WAVE’s new cafe is a lot smaller than their first branch off Mare Street, but it has enough seating for a quick coffee and pastry, or if you’re looking for something more substantial, some great sounding sandwiches/toasties!
Read moreSo far, we’ve only tried the pastries and coffee. It’s always great to know that everything is vegan and pain au chocolat and almond croissant we had were tasty. Coffees come in paper cups, which is not ideal, but I think they use eco-friendly ones.
Great addition to the Stoke Newington coffee scene!
Pros: Cosy spot , Lovely people, Great for a quick coffee and pastry
