CLOSED: Watership Down Veg Cafe

We came here twice during our stay in Palermo and absolutely loved it - the people were super-friendly and spoke very good English, we had tasty pub food (mainly sandwiches and panini, there were also "hot dogs") and drinks (frappé, cold chocolate etc.) at fair prices and got to listen to good music and to look into interesting alternative literature (mostly in Italian, but they had some English books there, too). It seemed like the kind of people coming there were quite diverse, too, so it was quite a nice atmosphere with more than just the usuals supects I would have expected at an alternative place like this.

It's the first place in town where anything is totally vegan!
The haunt is quite big, nice, and there are a lot of places to seat, and eat some good vegan food 'till 2 am!
Nice cocktails/herbal tea are made, and they sell vegan beers only.
Also, they sell books about veganism and other underground topics.
Most of all, prices are low and free wi-fi is available!
It's the perfect place where to stay if you're looking for some good food and relax in a healthy and veggie way! :)

Perfect place for a Vegan; it's a pub so, don't expect to stay in a restaurant, but you can taste good and fresh food everyday (only place in Palermo and South Italy)totally vegan.
Good selection of drinks; cozy and good atmosphere.
The workers are the best!!!
It has a bookstore inside with a good selections of underground books and argouments!!
