Tea drinkers paradise! - Edit
A busy cafe, with a great atmosphere. Whole menu full of tea options! Quite a few vegan and veggie options available including cakes. All of the food looked amazing. Will definitely be back!

Handy for brunch, with vegan options - Edit
Popular tea/coffee house just opposite a park, which I visit regularly when in the area. The brunch menu alters occasionally and has a few vegan options. On my visit last week I had some excellent mushrooms on sourdough - well flavoured and using whipped tofu - with extra avocado. All freshly made.
Read moreThey have a selection of teas. Coffee is always good. They usually have 3-4 vegan cake options, also very good.
All is clearly labelled and staff are pleasant and efficient.

not bad - Edit
not bad vegan options. lovely cakes and I didn't feel left out at all with what everyone else was having. I would have preferred an alternative to soya milk but that's my own preference.staff are lovely and friendly. I'd definitely go again.

Best place for Afternoon Tea :) - Edit
I wish I had known about this place earlier, which is why I decided to add it to Happycow and make sure other vegans know that they can enjoy a real afternoon tea!
Read moreYou have to order afternoon tea a day in advance and at this point specify any dietary requirements (i.e. tell them you're vegan). They also do gluten-free etc.
The afternoon tea includes sandwiches, a slice of cake, a scone with jam and cream and a truffle. The vegan cream isn't whipped, but the fact that they have it at all is amazing :)
They always have a vegan cake available so if you drop in for coffee and cake, you will actually be able to have cake! The cakes are made by locals that the tea house works with.
The tea menu is huge and organised by black, red, green and white teas. Within each section there are loads of different teas, so you won't be able to look through them all (unless you're planning on staying a long time..).
The tea house is in the beautiful Penylan area by the gardens.
Just realised Happycow won't let me give this place 5 stars!! It thoroughly deserves 5 stars though. It's much better than some vegetarian places...
Pros: Always has vegan cake, Great afternoon tea, Serves coffee
