Not vegan - Edit
Went here on a Sunday and they were only offering a brunch menu. They had a tempeh wrap, but when I went to order they said they didn’t have it . Offered me the vegan black bean burger. I asked if it was cooked separately, and they responded that they only have one grill.

horrible food, good service - Edit
First, don't bother trying to park on the street. Just go into the parking garage across the street.
Read moreSecond, you seat yourself but order at a counter. No table service! There is a pretty long bar though and plenty of tables. Menus and drink list are at each table.
Third, the food lacks flavor. It's like they didn't even season the food.
The hummus was hard and had an odd flavor. It was also a darker color than usual, so I don't know what happened there. But it came with a nice selection of veggies and pita bread.
The vegan burger had NO FLAVOR. and there was barely any vegan mayo on the burger. I had to ask for an extra side. Also, the French fries had NO salt on them. The cook needs to put some seasoning on the food! Even some salt and pepper would make this food better. Very disappointed.
My parents got the tempeh wrap and liked it. They also liked the 2 different beers they got. My friend got the pasta fagioli and hated it. It was a white color and had no meat in it. That's not how the soup is supposed to be made.
The staff were very nice and attentive. The food came out quickly. The ambience is very relaxed. Though there are a lot of people in here, it's pretty quiet.
Overall, food was not good! But service was good.
Pros: Friendly staff, Quick service
Cons: No flavor in the food

Some dishes are flavorful, some are bland. - Edit
I was looking forward to the tempeh spiedes, however they don’t use spiede sauce, which vegan sauce is out there, they replace it with bbq sauce which is not the same. It’s great they are trying but could push it a little farther. The other vegan options are great and would recommend.

Amazing food for all - Edit
Vegan consideration taken seriously! I had the black bean burger with vegan mayo and avocado...Wow! So delicious and satisfying! Crispy on the outside like a burger should be and nice and soft on the inside. Enjoyable to say the least! Would give 5 stars but that is for vegan/veg only restaurants. For those with Omni friends or partners, they have good food all around as well as house made beer. Highly recommend and they gained a repeat customer for sure!

tempeh spiedie wrap - Edit
The tempeh spiedie wrap is an absolute highlight here, and worth a visit in itself. You can also get it with vegan chick'n. I was a bit overwhelmed by the "build your own burger" options - the other main meal option for vegans. It sounds like there's lots of exciting burgers to be had, but none of the suggested combinations were vegan. Maybe don't come here when you're too hungry and it will be fine!
Read moreThe atmosphere felt a little like a food court or cafeteria rather than the cosy pub I was hoping for, but it was comfortable enough and the bar staff friendly. I tried two beers from the list of 7 or 8 and found them not quite to my taste. Maybe next time I'd try a "flight". Note I forgot to ask if any drinks were or weren't vegan.

Tempeh Spiedies Are Incredible - Edit
I love Water St! They have an impressive beer selection and veg*n options clearly marked on the menu. Every time I come I get the tempeh spiedies with barbecue sauce. They are delicious! A big plus about WSBC is that they have vegan options on their Restaurant Week menu, too! (Most other restaurants will have a vegan option available for one course but not the other two, which is silly! Why would I opt for the Restaurant Week menu when I can only eat one course? I digress...) They also have Charity Pint night where a portion of the proceeds from every pint of beer purchased goes to a local charity, and every month they dedicate their tip jar to a local organization. Overall a great business to support!

just what we wanted - Edit
We got vegan chicken sandwich, tempeh spiedies, vegan hot pretzels and falafel bites, the spiedies was the best for being the most unique item but everything was tasty. The restaurant was clean and had games for customers. Definitely recommend to anyone look for veg options in Binghamton.

Awesome Bean Burger! - Edit
I couldn't find a strictly vegan restaurant while in Binghamton, so settled for Water Street Brewing Co. which looked like a good veg friendly alternative. They are conveniently located near the downtown core, across from the river, so I walked there from my hotel. At first I found the wait staff a little cool and less then friendly, but that soon changed, and by the time I left they were all smiling and helpful. The restaurant itself is spacious, with a comfortable looking bar. The decor is relaxed with a slight rock n roll feel. There were a couple of beer distillery's on view as well. I sat down near the window, with a view of the street, so that I could people watch and then ordered the bean burger and fries. I was working that day, so I opted for a root beer. Sorry, that I can't tell you about there beer selection, but it looked impressive. As for the food, well I can tell you that if you like your bean burgers really bean-y, then you will absolutely love theirs. I found it excellent! It fell apart, and was huge, and totally delicious! The fries were great too, and came in a generous heap. So generous a portion in fact that I couldn't finish them! (Which is very rare for me.) I can't tell you much about there other veggie options, except that they do have some. I will definitely return again!

One of the best! - Edit
Water Street Brewing Co. is one of the best places to find a great vegan meal! Their Tempeh Spiedie Wrap and Southwestern Tempeh Salad are out of this world!
Read moreThe staff go out of their way to help you make good choices. Their tomato soup is always vegan and if you go on Sundays you can order homemade pretzels! Make sure you ask for it to be made vegan or the chef will put butter on it.
This is the meeting place for Binghamton Vegan Drinks monthly event. You can find the Facebook page in my profile. The owner always makes sure the special is vegan for us!
And I didn't even get started telling you about the beer! You'll have to check that out for yourself! I wish I could give Water Street Brewing Co. five stars but because they serve non-vegan food, Happy Cow won't allow it.
Pros: Tempeh spiedies!, Amazing staff!, Great beer!
Cons: The poutine is not vegan
