My husband and I use to eat at Watami fairly often but after how we were treated today we will never go back. Today my husband, 8 year old twin daughters, one who is special needs, and I got there at 11 to eat an early lunch. One of my daughters ordered kids shrimp lo mein with extra shirmp. She only got 3 shrimp in her meal so she didn’t receive extra shrimp in her meal. Whenever we went to the front to pay our server- who I believe is the owner/manager- met us rudely and I told him about the shrimp. He then asked my daughter if she got extra shrimp and she said no. He then walks to the back and asked them and they said we received extra shrimp. I stood firm we didn’t get extra shrimp. He took my debit card out of my hand scanned it and walked away. Not a thank you or anything. I wish I knew his name cause I would let you know who he is. We paid over $15 for a bowl of noodles and 3 shrimp and my daughter and I were treated like liars.

Also- our server bought our twins cups without lids we had to ask for kid cups. And we asked for wooden chopsticks and the holders for kids, the holders were dirty and used. They had not been washed.

My rice and veggies were good but my hibachi chicken was sad and fatty.

I kept my mouth shut, I was polite I didn’t cause a fuss, I just wanted to enjoy a lunch with my husband and daughters but Watami didn’t want that for us. I’ll never be back!
