first place we went to during our stay in bruges. i ordered the 'emma's açai bowl' and a vegan croissant. the menu was very varied and the vegan options were clearly labelled. alternative milks provided for all coffees too. the açai bowl and croissant were delish - blueberries were so sweet and the nut butter on top was so good. friendly staff too ☺️

I actually had no idea you could genuinely do laundry here. Crazy.
Fast food but tasty, tried the cheese bites instead of a bagel. Yum! On the irl menu they are labelled as vegan but online they aren't, after checking with the waitress and even sending an e-mail I got reassured both times that they are plant based🥰

We opted for the croissant and a açai bowl. Also the avocado bagel.
Read moreThe bowl was really flavourful with banana, blueberries and granola. The croissant was flaky as you’d expect.
The bagel was full of hummus and came with a choice of quinoa salad or soup (bit odd for a breakfast) but was really tasty also.
Decent coffee too.

I had the Quinoa & Guacamole salad along with a ginger tea. Everything was really delicious, except for the guacamole, which didn’t taste freshly made. Given the hotspot location, I suppose they might not have the time to prepare it fresh when the place is packed.

This is a restaurant in the Bruce Square and they had quite a few options. We had the avocado bagel sandwich, the waffle fries, the falafel bites and the hummus bites. All were excellent. The service was great and we got to sit overlooking the Square in the sun or shade.

So the burger is just 4 falafel balls in a bagel with some salad. If you’re not crazy about falafel, it’s a bit of a let down. And for 16 euros, it felt a little underwhelming. The view was fantastic and we could have the dogs outside, but as it was an evening in January we were pretty cold.

I came here after trying to get into multiple places that were all booked out for the day. I had the sesame avocado bagel sandwich. It was okay, but could use some pickled onions or something. I’m just glad I found somewhere to eat!

Had a nice lunch!
Vegan options are clearly labelled, and there are several options (avocado bagel, falafel bagel, hummus, ..). Also vegan pastry available.
Note: the 'waffle fries' are not labelled as vegan on the me u, although they are part of the viva las vega bagel. I was assured they are vegan and baked in the same oil as the falafels - plantbased oil.
Had the Viva las Vega bagel 'burger' (it's with falafel balls, 14,95€) and a portion of hummus on the side (3,6€) and lemonade with elderflower (4,8€).
As it was a nice Spring day, lots of people sat on the large terrace (with a splendid view at the Belfry), so inside was calm.
Lots of space inside. Ground floor, 1st floor and 2nd floor! Go upstairs if you can and take a seat at the window overlooking the market square.
Not accessible. Step to get in. Toilets upstairs (2nd floor) via spiraling stairs. Toilets clean, with paper towels.
Friendly service! 🤗
Wasbar is a chain with several locations in BE. As the name says, you can also do your laundry here (washing machines in 2nd floor).

We had a nice vegan brunch on the terrace of Wasbar. They have several options for breakfast and lunch, including vegan croissants, acai bowls (which can also be made gluten free), bagels, cake waffle fries. They have soy and oat milk available too.

A few clearly labeled vegan options. I had the falafel burger which comes with a side salad and waffle cut fries. Unfortunately they were out of the vegan croissant by the time I got there (late afternoon). Centrally located in the main plaza/city center. They offer vegan breakfast options too. I was pleasantly surprised by the burger (served in a sesame bagel). Good flavor!

Really nice vegan avocado and hummus bagel, comes with the choice of soup, quinoa or a side salad - would recommend the tomato soup! Lots of coffees with oat and almond milk available for €0.50, the latte was delicious. They also had vegan croissants on the menu but these weren’t available.

Das vegane Angebot ist beschaulich, aber nicht schlecht! Der Geschmack war nicht schlecht, doch das Preis-Leistungs-Verhältnis ist bodenlos. Mit dem Service waren wir leider nicht zufrieden. Wir haben sehr lange gewartet und die Sauberkeit und Ordnung lässt zu wünschen übrig. Die Bar war voll mit dreckigen Gläsern, in der Küche lagen Messer am Boden und das Besteck am Tisch war verschmutzt.

Der vegane Salat den ich hatte war sehr hochwertig (Guacamole, Humus, Qinoa, geröstete Kichererbsen...) und dafür wirklich preiswert (16 Euro). Und vor allem sehr lecker! Außerdem sitzt man in der ersten Reihe in bester Lage. Sehr empfehlenswert!
