The best vegan rendang I've ever had

We went to the grand opening of this new vegetarian restaurant, and met the owners (four sisters) and their families. They were very welcoming of us clueless tourists!

We got to try everything, and it was all brilliant. The best food I've eaten in Batam, and the rendang in particular was the best I've ever had, anywhere.

Two of the four owners are vegetarian, and the whole menu can be made vegan if you ask for no egg.

As it was opening day and a buffet, I didn't see a menu, so maybe check any drinks or desserts for milk.
