Vegan ice cream was disappointing - Edit
I have tried vegan ice cream at many different places. Unfortunately, the vegan ice cream at Wunderlust was quite sub-par. I recommend that vegans skip Wunderlust if they are looking for good vegan ice cream.

Vegan ice cream treats - Edit
While attending Smorgasburg in LA, I came across Wanderlust. They have vegan options available. To be honest, I wasn't expecting to be blown away. But I turned out to be pleasantly surprised at the complexity of flavors in my passion fruit dipped ice cream bar. It was decadent, creamy, and packed a lot of flavor. I would love to try their other vegan options in the future.

Can we just give a round of applause for all the amazing, non-dairy options that they have at Wanderlust?! I literally got nostalgic on my trip around the world tasting all the flavors that I had missed for so long.
Read moreWhile most creameries settle for one to two vegan options, Wanderlust does the opposite and half their menu is non-dairy, completely vegan friendly.
For $6ish, you can get two half-scoops to indulge in. I went with their vegan Ube Crunch and the Yuzu Creamsicle. Both of these flavors were indulgent and absolutely hot as ice - creamy without feeling like a sorbet. They even offer a vegan pandan cone for an additional cost - fittingly colored green for the occasion.
Next time I am wanderlusting again, I might just get off Google maps and head straight here for a trip down memory lane and a cheaper journey of what I could be experiencing flying again.
