Delitous seisonal vegan menu 🍂 - Edit
I chose a delicious pumpkin cream soup with roasted pumpkin seeds, while my husband went for a tarragon soup. The former was soul-warmingly tasty and hot, while the vegetables in the latter were a bit overcooked.
Read moreFor the main course, I opted for the seasonal vegetable risotto. I could only eat half of the generous portion. It was rich in steamed baby carrots and Brussels sprouts. It was served with some fresh vegetables and parsley alongside roasted red onions and a fruity sauce.
My husband had the vegan Hortobágyi pancake. To me, the pancake seemed a bit bland and oily, and the sauce and filling could have been more flavorful and creative.
For dessert, we shared a fake cottage cheese dumpling with vanilla custard, which came with three large dumplings. It was heavenly 🥰
The restaurant allows pets inside, but there is room for improvement in creating a more pet-friendly environment.
Overall, we left very satisfied 🥰🙏

Cons: The environment could be more friendly, Couldn't order hot tea, The temperature was a little low

Everything we tried was delicious and nicely seasoned. The portions were the perfect size, not small but not overwhelmingly huge. The staff was really kind, the service was fast and the dishes were freshly made and still warm when brought to our table.

Great restaurant with special food - Edit
This restaurant has a variety of vegan foods, which you hardly can eat anywhere else in Hungary! They serve more of a traditional Hungarian cuisine. Service was really nice, we ate on the terrace, it’s calm and quiet here. Would recommend 10/10!

It wasn't the first time we ate there, and since the first time, the menu has changed, but it is still amazing. Honestly, vegan restaurants should take a look at their vegan menu card!

Great selection of vegan meals - Edit
Walzer is one of very few places around the Velence lake with several vegan options. I went there with two other vegans and we tried the following meals: garlic soup, mushroom soup, Laboda seitan, cottage cheese balls. All tasted great. It is also very affordable.

Nice place in quiet area. Nothing special. Good prices. Large portions. Had garlic soup and mushrooms with potatoes as well as fried pancakes with cinnamon and apples. Service is friendly but slow.

The food was really great and they have a clearly vegan menu with many options. The only downside is that the service was super slow: we waited 1h15 and there were only 4 tables with guests. (The waiter advised about it upon our arrival)

Traditional hungarian countryside restaurant, serves really big portions. It is not a special gastronomic experience, but they offer fresh, and delicious food. They understand, what veganism mean, and have clear vegan menu. Very helpful staff. I'm not sure, they speak english.
