Had such a lovely lunch here ❤️

Everything we tried was delicious and nicely seasoned. The portions were the perfect size, not small but not overwhelmingly huge. The staff was really kind, the service was fast and the dishes were freshly made and still warm when brought to our table.

Great restaurant with special food

This restaurant has a variety of vegan foods, which you hardly can eat anywhere else in Hungary! They serve more of a traditional Hungarian cuisine. Service was really nice, we ate on the terrace, it’s calm and quiet here. Would recommend 10/10!

Better than vegan restaurants 🤷‍♀️

It wasn't the first time we ate there, and since the first time, the menu has changed, but it is still amazing. Honestly, vegan restaurants should take a look at their vegan menu card!

I highly recommend this place to everyone who is already tired of hamburger and pizza! 🙂

Great selection of vegan meals

Walzer is one of very few places around the Velence lake with several vegan options. I went there with two other vegans and we tried the following meals: garlic soup, mushroom soup, Laboda seitan, cottage cheese balls. All tasted great. It is also very affordable.

Pros: Knowledgeable staff, Tasty vegan meals, Affordable

Cons: Barely any gluten-free vegan options

Delicious vegan meals

Friendly, nice serving. They know what vegan means.

Nice restaurant, good food, nothing special

Nice place in quiet area. Nothing special. Good prices. Large portions. Had garlic soup and mushrooms with potatoes as well as fried pancakes with cinnamon and apples. Service is friendly but slow.

Nice food and service

They have a vegan menu with many options (most with seitan). The food was delicious, portions were pretty big and the service was friendly.

Nice place to eat near Velence

Walzer is a good choice to eat at when you visit lake Velence.

Pros: Lots of vegan options, Nice staff, Nice terrace

Cons: Glutenfree options are not available

Nice service, delicious “traditional” hungarian food

Our waitress was very nice, they served our food quite fast. Large variety of vegan options.

Good food, slow service

The food was really great and they have a clearly vegan menu with many options. The only downside is that the service was super slow: we waited 1h15 and there were only 4 tables with guests. (The waiter advised about it upon our arrival)

Friendly service, good prices, big portions

Traditional hungarian countryside restaurant, serves really big portions. It is not a special gastronomic experience, but they offer fresh, and delicious food. They understand, what veganism mean, and have clear vegan menu. Very helpful staff. I'm not sure, they speak english.
