Serves meat, vegan options available. Restaurant serving Italian and German cuisine with some vegan choices. The signature vegan dish is polenta with grilled vegetables and pumpkin oil. Closed in the evening on the third Sunday of each month. Open Mon 17:00-22:00, Thu 11:30-13:30, Thu-Sat 17:00-22:00, Sun 11:30-14:30. Closed Tue and Wed.

Sehr leckeres Essen

Für alle Ernährungsformen gibt es was. Karte wechselt saisonal, neben gemischten Salaten (es gibt veganen Kartoffelsalat) gibt es immer mindestens ein Gericht, oft als Bowl. Neuerdings gibt es auch Nachtisch.
Aktuell gibt es eine Spargelbowl und als Nachtisch Vanillecreme mit Rhabarberkompott und Hafercrumble. Sehr lecker

Pros: Wechselnde Gerichte, Veganer Kartoffelsalat, Freundliche Bedienung

Cons: Portionsgrössen sind ok, aber nicht üppig

My absolute favorite German restaurant close to home!

If you’re a vegetarian in southern Germany, you’ll know the struggle: Southern-Germans just love their meat. That basically leads to a lack of vegetarian options in German restaurants. Not at the restaurant Waldhorn in Wangen: the owners are very mindful about food in general and try to serve everyone the dishes they need fitting their diet. It doesn’t matter if you’re lactose, gluten or histamine intolerant, if you’re veggie or vegan - they always have an option for you on the menu or go to great lengths to adapt dishes to your liking. Especially for families with various nutritional likings, it’s a definite go to!
