Auf der Reise Richtung Frankreich extra einen Abstecher gemacht. Tolles organisches Ambiente, schöne Musik in passender Lautstärke, nette Bedienung. Bester Kaffee, die Tomatensuppe ist sehr zu empfehlen. Leider hat ein Gast kurz vor mir das letzte Stück Donauwelle bekommen… 😟 Aber der Zwetschgenstreusel war auch sehr lecker. Unbedingt besuchen!

Der Titel trifft es schon ganz gut. Meiner Meinung nach kann da kein fancy Stadt Café mithalten. Es ist sehr liebevoll und modern eingerichtet. Vor Ort ist auch die Waldakademie. Man findet auch eine Abteilung mit Büchern und Zubehör zum Thema Wald und auch die Literatur vom heimischen Autor Peter Wohlleben. Die Kuchen sind alle frisch und auch alle lecker. Das kann ich beurteilen, weil wir noch ganz viel Kuchen mitgenommen haben, was übrigens kein Problem war. Die Mitarbeiter waren auch sehr nett. Man hat sich so wohl gefühlt. Definitiv ein Ort zum verweilen und genießen. Ich komme wieder es lohnt sich so sehr!

Super leckere Kuchen und Waffeln! Der Kaffee, die Säfte und alles was es sonst noch gibt sind nachhaltig und schmecken hervorragend. Auch das Personal ist sehr nett und der Service war super. Das gesamte Konzept überzeugt und wir empfehlen es von Herzen weiter ♥️

Read morehowever, i love the atchitecture and the sustainable concept: they have wooden furniture (inside) and tables etc. from recycled plastic outside, reusable towels and are also willing to fill your own to go cups (they don't have their owns yet). lovely outdoor seating area for good weather days but you can also stay inside and even bring your dog.
we tried coffe, cake and waffles, all of which delicious. my waffle was fluffy, the salted peanut ice cream great (it had unexpected chocolate pieces inside :o).
my companion tried the donauwelle and rated it 4 stars (the cream tasted like the inner part of a schokokuss [chocolate marshmallows?]).
we had a lovely time, can recommend and we'll return:)
