Non-vegans loved the nachos & sweet potatoes, I prefer regular potatoes but still these were really good. Flavorful. There was something bitter in the burrito, mid through some sauce or something it was the same apparently in a non-vegan burrito, the person with that one tried mine to compare so that had nothing to do with the vegan delivery of the food.
The broccoli was really really nice, garlicky & flavorful. Quesadillas were fine, not a lot of flavor, would have loved some coriander/cilantro or salsa verde, onions even to give the beans and cheese some yummyness.
I've never had churros before, not even before I went vegan, I'm not a fan apparently 😂 But non vegans with me finished them up saying there was no difference, they would have preferred some sugar finish on them but other than that they tasted like regular churros to them ✌️
Pros: Variety of options for Vegans, Easy access through deliveroo, Decent food, flavorful sides, vegan cheese good
Cons: Bit pricey for mostly tortillas, beans & rice, Bitter taste in the middle of the burritos, Not good enough for any of us to want to go again.

They have a separate vegan menu with many options (starters, tacos, small dishes, burritos, and even desserts including churros). I got the corn and bean tostadas and the beans and cheese quesadillas. Both were really good, especially the quesadillas which actually had good vegan cheese. My partner had the plantain tacos and the aubergine dish, and really loved the plantain tacos.
Read moreStaff was kind. The only downside was the waiting time. The restaurant was far from full/busy but we had to wait almost 40min after we ordered just to get guacamole and then another 15min to get the other dishes. Still worth it in my opinion, but you better not be in a rush.

Went to Wahaca with my cousin (non-vegan), where we ordered the vegan nachos to share. Both of us absolutely loved it! It was such a special combination of ingredients that all worked perfectly well together. As a main I had the plantain tacos, black bean quesadilla, with a side of their sweet potatoes. The plantain was not my favourite due to the hibiscus sauce (our server warned me it was not her favourite either😅). The black bean quesadilla and the sweet potato side however, were amazing. I would definitely order those two again (with the vegan nachos)! Our server was also very friendly and helpful!

7 of us well done looked after - good selection of Vegan and veggie options. We loved the bean quesadillas and mushroom enchiladas. Staff very friendly and helpful (supporting us embarrassing a birthday with a cake and candles we had brought).

I got the sweet potato burrito and a hibiscus margarita. The waiter was so nice and helpful. They brought my meal out with sour cream on the chips and she noticed it before I could say anything and went to correct it. She was very knowledgeable about the vegan options and had good recommendations. Food tasted great! Had a lovely smoky flavor to it.

I was a big fan of Wahaca when I lived in London but there isn't one where I live now. They now have a separate vegan menu (you need to ask for it, but it's referenced on the main menu) which has plenty of vegan versions of the Wahaca standards - snacks, tacos, burrito etc. This is probably my favourite sort of good as I can never decide what I want and at Wahaca, I can just get several smaller plates for myself - obviously I wouldn't share any of them. Cocktails optional (unless you're me).

It is really huge place! Looks good but it is still "fast food" style. Staff is super friendly and helpful. I had mushrooms enchiladas and it really missed some final touch, average taste. Maybe other options are better. Guacamole was nice

I appreciated the key that let you know if something was fried in shared oil so you could avoid cross contamination, and a full menu of vegan options.
Read moreHowever, despite avoiding those dishes, notifying the staff of my allergy, and the manager taking my order as a result, I got to wake up hours later with a swollen tongue and hives.
If allergies aren’t a concern for you and you have non-vegan loved ones, you may want to go here, but if you like spicy food like me as well as being vegan this is not the place- the vegan nachos were great, but the faux chicken taco was just okay and the black bean quesadilla was really plain- it tasted like literally just beans and violife.
Overall, food was pricey for what it was and ‘meh’, and I obviously can’t recommend it after mr allergy flare, but I will say it’s obvious that any cross contamination was incredibly minor as this is a very mild reaction for me, so they did at least try.

We had a veggie set for 2 (6 different dishes). All those dishes are also available as separate meals to be ordered. Overall experience is good. Food was served quickly and service was very pleasant. Some dishes were very tasty (stuffed blue corn tortilla, tacos with plantain), some were fine (black bean quesadilla, tacos with pumpkin), some just average (broccoli, tacos with mushrooms). Some tacos were too soggy because of the filling and were falling apart in my hands, making it difficult to eat, other meals contained the same spices making it difficult to distinguish between 2 originally very different meals. As it was a share set for 2, it was a bit strange that some meals contained odd number of items (1pc and 3pc in some dishes) on the plates. It could have been better, should they really customise their sets for 2 people and not just bring those meals the way they are stated in the menu as separate items to order.

We tried vegetarian set for two. The portions were definitely too small for two adults. All foods for some reason came with the same red cabbage inside them as well as sprinkled on top. I guess that's why all foods tasted the same...
