Food for the belly, not the soul

They have a separate vegan menu which is a great thing. Very expensive. Yummy. Apart from the food, it's just a company trying to sell a fake new agey image about mindfulness and spiritual eating which has nothing to do with the stressed out poor employees that served us or the meat plates. Morally disgusting but tasty.

Pros: Separate vegan menu with lots of options

Cons: Very expensive

Oh, but it's actually chicken

Ordered a new seitan dish. It came back smothered in curry sauce. After I tasted it, I was told that it was actually chicken. When I complained, the waitress said oh sorry and left me just like that. I got so angry with the attitude that I demanded to talk with the manager. He apologized, gave me a discount but too late. Trust lost, very disappointed!

Fast, good food

The restaurant is accessible through both Tivoli and the street in case you’re not visiting the park. Seating is at communal tables in a large, boisterous space. The food arrived hot moments after ordering.

Pros: Vegan menu, Good for groups

Cons: Limited vegan wines

Good vegan menu

They have a separate vegan/vegetarian menu that is given with the ordinary menu making it easy to pick.
There's even a vegan katsu karri(!).

Pros: Good selection of vegan options

Cons: Lacks a bit of spice and finesse.

Tasty vegan options

I got the vegan pad Thai. It was nice to have some vegan choices inside of Tivoli and I enjoyed the food and the environment of the place. It’s quite large inside and servers were friendly.

A rollercoaster of ups and downs

Wagamama is located at Tivoli and a rollercoaster is probably the best word to describe the food, as it has its ups and downs. We arrived without a reservation and we were seated very quickly by the excellent staff. We decided to order the bang bang cauliflower starters, the yasai surrendra and yasai itami with a table water, super green juice and blueberry spice juice drink that cost kr519 in total. Unfortunately the steamed buns, gyozas, katsu curry and pad thai could not be made vegan, which was disappointing despite the efforts of the staff who checked thoroughly in the allergy bible for us. Don't get me wrong the food we did order was excellent but vegan labelling would improve the menu significantly. The bang bang cauliflower starter particularly was a real highlight with its hot and flavoursome sauce, as were the curry and itami that had such a great depth of spice and flavour and I would recommend going if you fancy a break from all the burger places in Copenhagen like we did but not specifically for vegan dining.

Pros: Tasty vegan dishes, Friendly staff

Cons: Limited vegan options, Vegan options not labelled, Serves meat

Simply amazing

Very nice place to have a vegan dinner. There are multiple vegan options and you can always ask them to remove some ingredient from the dish, for us it was an egg. They happily did that.

Also, the coconut ice cream with mango puree that they have is just marvelous!

Pros: Selection, Friendly staff, Vegan Ice cream

Cons: a bit pricy

Not knowledgeable about veganism

I've gone here a few times, and while it's probably the best spot if you're visiting Tivoli, I suggest bringing your own lunch instead. Wagamama is okay, but the stuff is not knowledgeable abut veganism. The last time I was there, I was assured that the tofu bowl was vegan, ordered it, and it was pretty good. When ordering a dessert from a different waitress, and asking for vegan options, she told me that the tofu was battered in eggs. Luckily, I'm not allergic to eggs, but not a very pleasant surprise.
