Exciting menu

I'm a big fan of the vegan options at Wagamama, it's always exciting to see what's on the menu. All the starters sound so good, it's a shame not to be able to try everything. On this occasion, I tried the mushroom skewers, which had the perfect texture and were nicely seasoned, the ribs, which are sticky and spicy, and the k-dogs, which had a fantastic crunchy texture.

For my main, I had the vegan chicken kare lomen. The noodles were thick and delicious, and the chicken was absolutely fantastic, I don't think I've ever had anything quite the same texture. The coconut sauce was a bit spicier than I would have liked, but it was all tasty.

Service was fast, as always at Wagamama. It's a bit pricey, but generally worth it for me.

Lots of great vegan options

It's been great to see how the wagamama menu has changed over the years, steadily getting more and more vegetarian and vegan friendly. I love that there are so many options now and always enjoy getting a few starters to pick at. This time around we got K-dogs, mushroom skewers and tempeh ribs.

The vegan K-dogs were very fun and like nothing I've had before. It was a couple of vegan hot dogs in a crispy noodle coating, covered in sriracha and turmeric mayo. The crunchy coating was excellent but the sausage on the inside was a bit too soft and got a bit lost in there. I thoroughly enjoyed it though.

The sticky vegan ribs were excellent and I've had these before. They're really well seasoned chunks of tempeh in a great marinade that's especially good on the bits where there's a bit of charring.

For my main I had the Korean hotpot with tofu. It was a really tasty, spicy broth with lots of vegetables in there along with silken tofu and the tteokbokki. The only downside was that the bok choi were left in whole so we're tricky to eat. I mostly went for it because it contained tteokbokki and I don't get many opportunities to eat them. It was a great choice.

Ok

Pricey and recently every single time I go they make the food so spicy it’s inedible.

Hits the spot!

The aubergine bao buns are to die for! Had the tofu pad thai, very good. Nice big portions and filling, feels healthy too. Green tea is free if you ask for it.
Great staff, fast service, slightly expensive but think it's worth it. Would return.

Pros: Clearly labelled vegan options , Lots of vegan options

Always great!

I had a delivery from Wagamama to my Hotel Tonight consisting of bang bang cauliflower, wok fried greens, and a Katsu curry with white rice and side salad. To drink I opted for the power juice of ginger spinach an apple.

Everything arrive perfectly as expected and this restaurant chain is constantly improving the vegan options.

Good food, expensive

I finally tried the vegatsu curry however it was a lot more sickly than I thought it would be, I would have preferred more vegetables in the dish and I was unable to finish it. However, I had the aubergine and mushroom steamed buns for a starter and they were delicious. The price unfortunately brought it down, my meal came to over £20 including a soft drink.

Pros: Whole vegan menu

Cons: Very expensive
