Food good but place has no waste thinking

Went here for lunch and they have a few vegan dishes like starters, ramen and curries.

The place is big with a lot of seating and long tables which is great for bigger groups. I had the "Vegatsu", a fried tofu and soya patty with rice, curry sauce and a salad. The portion was big and patty very welled fried but what I really didn't like was that they have single-use chopsticks which feels like such a waste and therefor my lower rating.

Yum but spicy 🥵🔥

The restaurant's menu has clear labels for vegan food which is always great. The staff was super friendly and the food was great, even though, personally, way too spicy (but that might be just us).

Pros: Vegan labeled meals, Super kind staff

Cons: A bit too spicy

If I could give it 5 stars, I would

Like every Wagamama restaurant that I've been to, the service and food are always a delight. Having eaten here multiple times, I'm yet to have a bad meal or experience. It's a reasonably sized restaurant which generally doesn't accumulate a queue. Alongside this, there is an outside eating area during warmer periods. I'd highly recommend a trip!

Great Wagamammas

Great Wagamammas with plenty of light coming in to the restaurant.

Been here many times, but last visit I got egg in my pad Thai. They were apologetic and took the cost off my bill which was nice

Pros: Great options , Extensive menu, Fresh

Cons: Pricy

Great chain to eat at as a vegan

So many vegan options and they’re always adding more stuff. The food is great, the price is decent and there’s a Wagamama’s in every city so it’s always dependable.

Pros: Dependable choice , Lots of vegan options

Amazing vegan menu and food

Loved the vegan menu! There were loads of sides and mains to choose from as well as 2 sorbet desserts. The vegan drinks were clearly marked too. I tried everything with a picture and split with my friend. We loved the mixed mushroom and panel aubergine hirata steamed buns and the vegatsu was amazing! The kare burosu ramen was tasty but preference was given to the other 2. I can’t wait to try the vegan menu again! I also drank green tea which was free. The staff were lovely and patient, the service was great and the prices were very reasonable.

yasai samla curry

I have been a massive lover of wagamama's for well over a year now! The food is beautiful, cooked quickly and service is normally decent :) This applies to this particular Waga's too! The yasai curry was absolutely beautiful (though v spicy - just be warned)! Even vegan drinks are listed on the vegan menu (including wines yay). Only downside is that of all the vegan mains options, like 2/3 of them are noodle based! And I'm not a fan of noodles x

Pros: 10/10 food, Open plan rooms , Vegan drinks menu

Cons: A smidge pricey

New vegan menu

They have a dedicated vegan menu now - the pad thai and yasai gjoza are a must-have! Don't forget the green tea too

Wagamama-St Peters square

I went here with my family. They recently added more vegan options (got a separate vegan menu) and it was all amazing. For entree I was sharing the raw salad (tasty but here was only a little bit of seaweed in there, would have liked more) and the dumplings (yum, especially the dressing). For main I had the yasai samla curry (spicy and so delicious) and for dessert I shared the pink guava and graphefruit icecream and the lemongrass and lime icecream which were both lovely and refreshing. Besides the food the vibe was also nice. I will return here soon.

Pros: Lots of vegan options, desserts, good quality-pric

Vegan options

A chain restaurant with more than one vegan and vegetarian option ,in fact a whole proper menu card including vegan wines.
We had edamame, sticky cauliflower. And
A silky tofu ramen which was amazing and a plain tofu Itame which was very good.
It does have a meat menu so it's a great place to go with non veggie friends and family as they can see great veggie food is possible.

Pros: Knowledgeable staff

Need more vegan options

Great tasting food, quick service and reliable quality. Also on Deliveroo, which is useful. The yasai itame is DELICIOUS!

The options that are available are great, but - needs to look into providing more vegan options! Especially gluten free.

Wow, delicious healthy food

Great place to eat vegan, I love the atmosphere and the style of restaurant. I asked what was Vegan and the waiter brought out a huge food allergy folder. Im not easily embarrassed but I may have blushed. As the menu is so flexible I can see it wouldn't be easy to label vegan but I would have preferred either suggested vegan combinations on the menu or the waiter to recommend something. what I did eventually order ( have no idea) was amazing, really delicious.

Pros: Food, Atmosphere

Cons: Its there such a thing as too much choice?

Decent for dining with non-veg friends/family

Lovely service with staff that are more than willing to accommodate for certain dietary requirements. There is only one vegan main meal on the menu (Yasai Itame) which I really wouldn't recommend, but other dishes can be adapted - it just takes a bit of effort.
Decent choice of sides - Yasai Gyoza dumplings and edamame are delicious.

Pros: Decent choice of sides, staff are willing to accommodate

Cons: Poor choice of vegan mains, a bit of a chore to adapt dishes

Wagamama, Manchester

The Wagamama menu is a temple to the slaughter of animals. There are veg*n options on the menu but this is a side line in comparison to the main event - eating dead animals. See the menu on the Wagamama website for yourself.

Having this listing only erodes the credibility of happycow.

Cons: Temple to eating dead animals

Fabulous meal, very accommodating

Various food diets and allergies/intolerances can easily be accommodated at this restaurant. Ask for the special diet booklet from a staff member to help you make dish selections...accommodated gluten and dairy intolerances, vego and vegan, diabetic diets plus more. Meal sizes are generous......pls don't be put off by eating at this type of chain restaurant as its definitely one of a kind, The restaurant waiting staff plus chef very good in checking allowable ingredients etc to present you with a meal worth waiting for. I'll be looking out for more of these places around to eat at.

Pros: Accommodating menu, Happy, cheerful staff, Great sized dishes
