Even better than vegan restaurants

In my six-day stay in London, the meal I had in Wagamama was the best (even better than vegan restaurants)! The vegan rib had a meat-like texture. The bun was so soft and went well with the deep fried eggplant and mushrooms. The chicken noodle was also unexpectedly good! I wonder how they made those meat substitutes as those tasted really meaty!

The best Wagamama to go to

This is their flagship kitchen where they try new recipes so it's always likely they might have some new vegan dishes to try. Then you can review them and bump up those vegan dishes you want on the menu everywhere!

Avantgarde vegan

Is the only reason I went there and the bowl was very good. Also had vegan ice cream. It was packed inside but the service was quick an t he staff was very friendly.

Lovely bowl, but slow service

I popped in for dinner one evening when I was watching a play around the corner. At the time, they were piloting the “Avant Gard'n” bowl with a vegan egg, a collaboration with celebrity chef Gaz Oakley.
While it was very tasty, I didn’t find it filling. Because of it being a test kitchen, they gave me a mobile device on which I could give feedback for the dish after I had finished (which, I have to say, gave me immense pleasure).
The service was rather slow, unfortunately. Of course I understand that the venue is very big, but it wasn’t busy when I was there, so I think everything could have gone at least a bit more quickly.
Nevertheless, I would return to see what kinds of new vegan dishes are in the works at Wagamama.
