Always good

Consistent, tasty food.
This branch of wagamama is usually very speedy with service which is nice. And has lots of booth tables which are more comfortable than the standard benches.
Personal favourites are the yasai gyozas, bang bang cauliflower, vegatsu, gyoza ramen.
Love that the menu is updated regularly and that it’s 50% vegan!

Never a disappointment

You can never go wrong with a Wagamama’s Katsu or vegetable tempura.

Great vegan options

Usually my first chain choice in lieu of any vegan restaurants as they have a unique vegan menu with lots of options including desserts. Most recently visited to try their Veganuary menu and the Watermelon Tuna Steak which was really nice and unique. The Avant Gard'n is a great new choice too. Can get quite busy at times

Vegatsu or Avant Garden

Wagamamas are really upping their game in the vegan world. I have on different occasions had both the vegatsu (seitan katsu curry) and the Gaz Oakley Avant Garden and both were fantastic.

Pros: Big portions and more vegan items now available

Cons: Food comes when ready (this is explained)

Great Vegan Menu, Poor Service

Specifically visited this Wagamama when they introduced the new vegan/vegetarian menu, and while the food was great, especially the new Kare Burosu the service was really poor. It was very busy and when we arrived and the queue to get in was a jumble of people with and without reservations with no organisation. We then ordered pretty quickly, and the food took forever to arrive. The meals came out at such different times that one person was finished by the time the last meal came, and the sides came a long time after the mains, and were cold when they arrived. When we mentioned this to the waitress, she was very apologetic, but the manager interrupted and basically shouted at us that they were sides and they'd come when they were ready. They did at least take the latest of the meals off the bill. Would definitely not go to Wagamama again, but not this location.

Vegan menu now available

The introduction of the vegetarian/ vegan menu is great. Choices of mains are good especially if you are a tofu fan. Food is served as it's ready so some dishes come before others.
New vegan dishes added to the menu: Vegatsu - katsu curry seitan is so good!

Pros: Special vegan menu

Cons: No real dessert choice - only sorbet
