Food is good, bit it is very crowdy

I love the vegan options, but it is too noisy.

Pros: Food, Stuff

Cons: Too noisy

Nice & quick

Always a good place for tasty food. Several new vegan options have been added to the menu and I definitely recommend trying the firecracker hot-sweet vegan “chicken” as a starter/side dish.
As a popular chain restaurant, this place can get very busy and noisy.

Always a treat !

Had the vegetable gyoza ramen made vegan and the boyfriend had the Teriyaki vegan 'chicken' ramen. were both so filling and delicious. the vegetable gyozas are such a great topping to the ramen and are so flavoursome. the vegan chicken is absolutely insane and my newly veggie boyfriend says he can’t tell the difference from the real thing. a great chain option.

Pros: vegan chicken is amazing , a vast selection of plant based foods , the fake meats are very realistic

Cons: no surprises, you know what you’re getting.

One of my go to restaurants

Many vegan options, great place to eat with friends as both vegans and meat eaters can be catered for. Vegatsu is a firm favourite.

Fast & Delicious

Great to see Wagamama consistently adding more Vegan options to their menu. As you would expect everything is of good quality and flavoursome. I had the short rib ramen, the spicy cauliflower and the stir fried greens. All good and served quickly.

Pros: Many vegan options, Tasty food at a reasonable price, Quick

More vegan options than in Belgium, for example

I've often eaten at the Belgian Wagamama. When visiting the Canterbury area, I was looking for something to eat and considered Wagamama, since I knew what to expect there. I was pleased, when checking their menu, to see how many vegan options they offered, including something with a vegan egg.
Granted, it wasn't mind-blowing, but it was good food either way.

Pros: friendly staff, plenty of vegan options

Cons: not cheap

Easily the most reliable chain

I don't tend to eat at chain restaurants often but for Wagamama I make an exception. Their vegan options are tasty, innovative and well-priced. For today's trip to Canterbury I tried the vegan ribs and vegan chicken ramen for the first time. They were both delicious and full of flavour, although texture-wise I prefer the seitan vegatsu. The ramen was so tasty and spicy, I really liked the sambal paste, and I added the vegan egg (£1.50 extra) which is not usually included with the chicken-style ramen because I wanted to try it - I was pleasantly surprised. The white is quite convincing, if they wanted to make the yolk more eggy with Kala namek I'm sure they could but I enjoyed it anyway. The humble bang bang cauliflower is still the Kong of the menu.

Being Canterbury I will just say it's quite busy early in the evening (post shopping, lots of families) so there was a long queue at about 6:15 when we turned up and service was slower than usual. By half 7 it had emptied out a lot. So just bear that in mind if you're in a rush.

Great food

We always eat a Wagamama when we are travelling as we know we are guaranteed decent vegan food.
Although each branch is slightly different the concept is the same.

Pretty good restaurant

Unlike the Brighton wagamamas this restaurant is pretty good, it has pretty attentive staff that will even sit down and help you look through the allergen menu if you need to. The vegan menu is pretty decent, with lots to choose from like ramen, soups and veggie katsu curry. There are a few vegan beers you can choose from and fresh juices, as well as a few vegan puddings.
This place can get pretty crowded at lunch times😄can get a little loud!

Pros: Vegan options , Gluten free options , Nice staff

Cons: The wait for food can be long, Not fully vegan, Can get crowded
