Fluffy and delicious waffles - Edit
The waffles are yummy, the labels are confusing because there’s only one label for both vegetarian and vegan but that’s also on dishes that include meat. Coffee was not good, the almond milk was way too sweet. Available milk alternatives were soy and almond.

Had the waffles with berries, yoghurt and muesli, I think it was called the fresh start, and they were so good! It was a hard choice between a few options because they all looked really good. Coffee was also excellent. Definitely need to visit for breakfast if you’re in cairns!

It’s not often you find vegan waffles but this place has a bunch of vegan options both sweet and savoury. Quick services too so no long waits. Seems to be a popular place in cairns!

We found this place by accident and loved it. I had the berry waffles and thoroughly enjoyed them. When I went to order my partner a mocha the waiter pointed out that his chocolate power isn't vegan friendly which I was grateful for. Only downside was no vegan ice cream (but vegan cream if that's your thing).

Read moreThe vegan waffle was ok texturally but lacked flavour. My plate had a deficient look about it. Just a tiny little scoop of icecream, no cream or chocolate sauce as the menu promised. They had run out of pretty much every fruit except raspberries and blueberries, which reduced my menu options down to one that I would never have chosen otherwise.
My friend got a savoury one and had to request salt, pepper and lemon juice for flavour improvement, which they were happy to give us.

Had the fruit salad waffle which was amazing! My husband had the savoury one with baked beans, avo, mushrooms and tomato. Unfortunately this was quite underwhelming as nothing was seasoned and didn’t seem to go well with the waffles. The Oreo shake can also be made on almond milk and vegan ice cream, it was delicious. Great option if you’re after something sweet.

The waffles were delicious and so was the fruit. However, the waffles were quite plain because the chocolate syrup wasn’t vegan and they didn’t replace it with anything. Not as vegan friendly as I expected, but if you love waffles you’ll like this option.

Many options can be made vegan, large serves. Lovely fresh fruit. Vegan icecream. The vegan waffles are gluten-free.

The server was happy to explain the vegan options. Substituting the vegan waffle is a $3 surcharge. The server said most things could be made vegan, however it usually involves removing the non-vegan items and not necessarily replacing them with anything, so you may get a smaller portion. The vegan coconut waffle is a bit sweet but not so sweet that it's strange to have with savory ingredients.

It was nice but nothing was seasoned while cooking (no salt, pepper, herbs, or spices) which made it a bit bland. The sweet waffles that were recommended for vegans were the Fruit Salad Yummy Yummy and the Fresh Start. We tried the fruit salad one and it was very good! They have coconut yogurt or soy vanilla ice cream that can be used or added to any dish.

I asked, and pretty much anything (except the ones with bacon etc) can be made vegan! Not too pricy either. Really yummy coconut yogurt!

I had the classic waffles with strawberries, bananas, soy ice cream and maple syrup. Service was quick and they were so delicious. Great place to stop for brunch. Only con is it’s not clear which menu items can be easily veganised - but you could always ask the staff😄

Delicious Vegan Waffles - Edit
Was pleasantly surprised to find such a delicious vegan option in Cairns! We had "The Classic" and "Fruit Salad Yummy Yummy" and they were indeed yummy!! The waffles were deliciously crispy on the outside and soft and fluffy on the inside, and were served with coconut yogurt instead of cream.

There are only a few tables outside, so I could imagine it would get very busy, we were lucky being a Tuesday morning that we were able to get a table no problems. But keep in mind for busy days!
Definitely recommend! We would eat again for sure! Yummo.

Cons: Only a few tables with very basic decor.

Vegan Waffles! - Edit
I was super excited to stumble upon this place whilst walking around Cairns. They were very busy at brunch time on the weekend so we came back on a weekday morning for brunch. They were still really busy but fitted us in and I got the sweet waffles with fruit, syrup, and coconut cream. Yum! They also have a savoury waffle on the menu with beans, veggies, avocado etc.
